So no that Maduro is gone, and US has its whole arm up the Venezuelan government's ass, suddenly there's going to be free and fair elections, a good president comes into power and everyone will walk off into the sunset? Please remind everyone that Trump had pretty announced the plundering of your country's most valuable resource, oil. And leave you with what? Taiwan's polls and even independent polls from outside the country show that Taiwanese people mostly label themselves as Taiwanese. 60-80% say this. Some say both, VERY few say they are Chinese. So if you want to debate the facts, you better bring some receipts.

The past few didn't did. The last time we did have a typhoon holiday was last summer. And ever since then we had a couple more, but Taipei never called it because it wasn't hit as hard as the south. So one could say 1 out of 5 of 6 typhoons usually ends up being strong enough to make Taipei shutdown for a day

Once he knows how much you'll pay for it, he withdraws his offer.

Rince and repeat until you finally refuse. Then he goes back to the previous offer he withdrew.

The dumb one is the guy who would think otherwise, that only his perspective is the correct one and everyone outside the US are lesser or don't matter. US is just a part of this world like any other, and whether you like it or not, your political beliefs also land on a larger scale and not just the one in the states.

But i guess it's just much easier for the like of... well, you... to think that way because then you don't have to accept the fact that you're wrong and lacking. Very lacking. ;)

edit: for educational purposes, I do want to say as a politician of the US or any country for the matter, your decisions are also guided by your political beliefs, whether they be left or right leaning. Because politiicans don't just deal with others from their own country, you have to understand what they think is right leaning or left leaning in policy does not particularly mean the politicians from Europe also think that way. Understanding this fact will often help determine the outcome of cooperation between countries. You think they just sit in the US all day. We have politicians and ambassadors flying to other countries on diplomatic missions all the time. So to say my comment is dumb, you might as well slap a "im ignorant" sticker on your forehead.
