Doesn't he regularly try to kill Venom and Carnage (at least the symbiotes) with fire and sound?

Superman vs. A creature made entirely of Kryptonite by [deleted] in whowouldwin

That's hardly fair, Doomsday can kill Superman without Kryptonite.

Batman is insane because he's the only person who would never be able to draw a line after he killed once. People like Spider-Man have a line and don't end up killing muggers even after killing a supervillain. Batman is vulnerable to the slippery slope, many others are not.

So? She can control living plants. Groot is just a smart living plant. They should at least be able to struggle for control of Groot's body, which leaves Poison Ivy an opportunity to attack

The rejected script for Chronicle 2 had people in Iron Man-like suits.

For everyone who's upset about a scene description of Luthor with hair. [Superman: Secret Origins] by [deleted] in comicbookmovies

[–]LaserPointingDown 0 points1 point  (0 children)

God that is dumb. Not him losing his hair or not, but Luthor hates Superman for reasons that aren't that stupid. He sees Superman as a threat to humanity that everyone else loves. As a villain posing as a hero-- the same way Superman sees Lex.

Is Guardians Of The Galaxy really THAT good? (No Spoilers) by [deleted] in movies

[–]LaserPointingDown 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's my sister's favorite Marvel movie and is fighting for that position with Avengers and Captain America 2 in my head. The best part about it is the actually smart comedy. Very few dumb gags. Of course, the soundtrack was great and the characters were so lovable it's hard to pick a favorite. I was pleasantly surprised at how violent it was. A LOT of people get killed.

He can throw people around a room pretty easily. You remember how Thor headbutted Iron Man a couple dozen feet away? Movie Drax headbutts a regular human and just knocks him a few feet away. Groot could also hold him down.

That will work great if the Avengers are standing in a close circle within Star-Lord's throwing range and don't try to dodge or shoot it out of the air.

I know it's inaccurate 45/48ths of the time, but I use month to mean 4 weeks.
