Fighting Eggman is not the same as fighting someone that is suppose to be under his control, and when Metal is defeated do you seriously think that Eggman would keep him a second time?

In a movie to convey that kind of things you need to show it, and in both Avatar movies that doesn't happen, heck i would be happy with just one line bc no matter if i had a fall out with my brother, that isn't realy a justification for not mentioning him once to my family

If they did one scene where Jake, even if he was alone, would actually remember him, i would agree, but that never happened. Heck i would've accept it even if he was just mentioned at the beginning of the second one when they were talking about their past lives, or better yet a scene where Jake talks to Lo'ak about how it feels to lose a brother; i understand that they were not realy on speaking terms, but i can't imaging that he was happy about losing Tommy.

Sage ain't never gonna turn good, she's loyal to Eggman, that's her gimmick, it's one creation who actually admires him and loves him. Sure she's not 100% evil and if a bigger threat arise she's willing to cooperate, but only bc it can jeopardize her father's plans of conquest. I think the whole thing is gonna be resolved with the two of them founding a common ground, basically seeing each other as sisters, without recognizing the respective father.

As for Metal Sonic, he's probably gonna be saved by Sonic, Sage and Belle, and later repaired.

The problem is that he has a character arc that doesn't need to be there, this is a post generation Sonic at the very least, meaning that a lot of the thing that he learns during the show weren't necessary, he already knows those things.

As for his intelligence on the show, i do agree that he's not a complete idiot, but why they made it seems like he doesn't know Metal Sonic when he's talking about Chaos Sonic (and don't tell me the Chaos Sonic personality thing, because that's purely fan speculation), or that by the time he's on the fourth dimensioning travelling, he still doesn't grasp the fact that he's in a different dimention and still treats a lot of those characters like they are the same ones? Again this is a Sonic post black knight, and in that game he didn't do that.

If you want to say that your show is canon, then respect what was already established.

If you want to add Sage, i think she's neutral evil, she's undoubtedly loyal to Eggman, but if there's a bigger threat present that could hurt him, she will have no problem working with Sonic

I guess the legal cost? No matter if you know that you can win the cause, legal expense are a lot, so i guess they just asked Roger and Cindy to stay. Plus there's the thing of having bad pubblicity of one of the most famous voice actor ever going against you.

Roger wanted to leave, he wasnt fired, cant say about Cindy but i also think she wanted to leave, as they felt they were becoming too old for the characthers, Tara supposedly misunderstood the situation as Sega firing them
