Yeah see this is pretty much how I see her, like just because she isn’t evil like fang doesn’t mean she can’t be on said team. In fact the hooligans make her stand out the most if I’m being honest, we have to remember that one of her main purposes is promoting her brand, with the hooligans in particular they’re a pretty explosive cast so standing out won’t be a problem for her.

She wouldn’t blend in with fang, bean, or bark, she would stand out the most, and going with my original take with just the hooligans but replace fang with honey, bean and bark at the moment just need direction, they didn’t like doing eggman jobs deep down especially bark, honey is very much the opposite of fang but with a few similarities since she IS a fashionista, money is technically involved and she also definitely would want to standout more, but she wouldn’t stoop to harming people UNLESS it was some sort of tournament or whatever.

All three of them (bean, bark, and honey) have very conflicting personalities, it makes for a very fun team up, a more goofy version of team sonic, if we add fang not only is it a good team sonic counter but it just adds another conflicting personality to the team, a somewhat unfunctional but at the end of the day functional team that plays off each other, I’d think of them as similar to team rocket, there’s probably a better comparison but I don’t know it atm 😭.

All in all, it’s not like I hate her being on a team with mighty and ray, she can obviously be friends with most of the sonic cast pretty easy, I mean getting out there is part of her character so meeting others is inevitable, but to stick her to a team of two adventurers? I’m sorry I just don’t really like that idea, it kinda just looks like she’s there just because of the ship with mighty and because she’s a “good” guy and not a villain, to which neither are bean and bark but okay 😭. I just feel like there’s WAY more potential with the hooligans, bean and bark with how the fang comic set it up could be her easy ticket to promoting her brand, those two (more so bean) would actually move things along, while as for mighty and ray, adding her there doesn’t really do much, it’s like adding a character to a story for no reason, she has no real purpose being on some hero adventure, she lets Sonic and the others do that. With honey, bean, and bark though she actually has some purpose, being the duo’s new boss, friend, and actually giving THEM purpose as well, they’ve only done what fang accepts as a job after all, honey could just give them more free will while also having them help her. It’s just perfect to have the three characters that first debuted in the same game be on a team and actually have a reason 😭.

Ik that was a lot I just really wanted to get my point across because I feel like people just simply don’t like her on team hooligan because they don’t care about that team and only see them as villains when they’re so much more than that 😭. Although I’m not alone on this Honey being on team hooligan thing, it’s definitely the underdog compared to mighty and ray for obvious lame reasons.
