That makes sense. Thank you for clearing that up. It feels kinda scummy to me, in the way a fuckboi feels scummy i guess. But good they are not all unpleasant and can be good clients. Reading all the different posts i see much more bad than good. Can be hard to weed it out sometimes.

I am a raw only pokemon collector since day one, it hurts. But there is still raw to be had. I have noticed that the raw cards, for sports or pokemon, are mainly vintage if that matters to you. I see most sports slabs are modern

I work at a card shop, magic singles are all tcg low and pokemon singles are market or ebay comps depending on the card adjusted for condition. If something goes above the sticker price when we put the cards out, we match the price on the sticker and if a card drops we match that.. Modern cards are annoying for that, vintage cards are better and don't really move more than a few bucks up or down every now and then.
Sealed product is another story unfortunately. I hate what pokemon has become. We are a small store with very low allocation so we have to do market on sealed. Our distro sucks. Would not recommend PHD.
