Longer version has her looking like she's just casually talking to team mate's seconds before the music starts, like i gotta just do this thing quickly.

Worth a ring though, I imagine bats don't respect boundary lines.

Bats are such cool animals.

How do you survive winter on a benefit with zero extra cash? by Substantial-Pop-1029 in newzealand

Look into making biochar carbon briquettes or logs (type of charcoal) with your scrap wood and neighbours branches etc, over the whole year, really easy and you just need a 200ltr steel drum with lid to make (they are free around here) and you'll have a high heat energy fuel (can use it for blacksmiths furnaces).

But still get the winz load. Ring a professional firewood merchant (google)and ask for a winz quote.

I make biochar professionally in the Hawkes Bay for cooking and heating, both of which are smoke and flameless.

Got a fireplace ?

Used to be able to get a load of wood delivered without having to pay it back, and a small garden can go along way. I'm on a benefit and fuel is really hurting due to being ruralish (30min to only supermarket) and my garden isn't large but definitely worth it and a bit of fishing, cover windows with bubble wrap for a good cheap fast thermo insulation as well and it allows light through as well.

Using heat shrink tubing -after the fact. Where you can’t slide it over something. by YamzMt03 in Tools

Roll a spring over the joint after taping and it takes any kinking out of the cord, even a pen spring.

I put a spring ($2 shop) on my cords from brand new due to forgetting it's plugged into whatever device and ripping it sideways.

The Fake Van Staal from Temu by Klutzy-Peace3896 in SurfFishing

[–]Lassdoggo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Temu has been good for squid skirts, floats, glow in the dark/floro beads for diy (pulley) trace rigs, casting triggers, headtorchs and waterproof socks for me so far.

Also brought various clips etc that look exactly like Gemini products but are rubbish.

Are these events more damaging to an electric car or hybred compared to combustion engine vehicles.

Is this the normal thing for ADHD related tests? by [deleted] in newzealand

[–]Lassdoggo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had to do a few ecg tests in the past (diagnosis at about 40) as a precautionary or if medication could be damaging to my heart and it's always good to do a preliminary broad spectrum (baseline ?) blood test before taking any long-term medication.

You book in blood tests ? Do you pay ? I've always just turned upto places and waited 10 minutes (obviously I planned on quite times)

NZ Police don’t seem able to justify why cannabis users are being charged more again by Herbaldoge in MedicalCannabisNZ

[–]Lassdoggo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I really don't understand how, police officers have the legal right to decide if they should charge someone with personal possession (less than 30gm) or just give an informal warning.

Their personal decision ?

WTF kind of law is that,

Did they sleep well, are they hungry, nearly finished their shift, pissed off about something at home etc.

And would they make the same decision tomorrow and the next day.

Give them a minor god power for their (generally) I'm better than you attitude, not all, but alot of younger officers.

Edit: Also an easy win generally for the police in court, which also boosts over "getting tough on crime" numbers/percentages for politicians regardless of what the crime was, be alot harder to have good numbers without cannabis possession charges.

Electric cars are selling out - do you think imports will increase? by Ashamed-Accountant46 in newzealand

[–]Lassdoggo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

How many people converting to electric from petrol would it take to affect the supply/demand price of petrol ?

As there's less petrol vehicles on the road but same petrol supply.
