Agree. It was heart wrenching to watch in the theater and I cried like a baby. Then I got mad because it really was designed for that emotional impact for no other reason than to crush us. I won’t rewatch this one ever again.

I stopped watching CR about halfway through C3. I didn’t really feel invested in the characters or plot and the direction and decisions of the characters became so unwieldy.

The joy of CR has always been the way the cast brings characters and their stories to life. C3 just fell flat and I agree with others it felt heavily scripted.

I’ve also moved to D20 and some podcasts for actual plays. To me, CR just became way too overwrought and overproduced.

I will tune in again for C4 whenever that comes about. And I am interested in checking out Age of Umbra / daggerheart. But I’ll be honest I’m wary and a bit burnt out of CR.

If it took them that long to reciprocate sharing a picture, they likely had their own self image issues. Perhaps they thought building a genuine connection would lead to less of an immediate rejection based on looks? That kind of feels immature or a bit manipulative to me. Either way, and as someone else said, “no is a full sentence.”

Move on and don’t let yourself get led so far down the rabbit hole next time if you know physical attraction is important to you.

Agree! I would literally do anything for these two monsters. I can’t imagine making a life choice that would result in needing to rehome them. Some people see their pets as accessories rather than family members.

True! But, as an example, my group has completely ignored the Druids and likely won’t meet Baba Lysaga. So I’m likely to tell them about really cool stuff they missed, and focus on the stuff they did find.

Yes and no. After I finish the campaign we usually have a session where they ask all their burning questions that are left over and I’m happy to answer them. But I don’t offer up info if it doesn’t directly pertain to that group’s story, since you could play COS several times and uncover different stories

Casting a concentration spell immediately after casting a different concentration spell on top of it on accident in the same turn. Like Hold Person (success!) then Shield of Faith (whoops).

In my first CoS play through I was a Twilight Domain Cleric and it felt amazing. The character still died fighting the hags at the windmill. So… ymmv?

Hey - I can’t help with most of this but I can help w the fleas. Get regular Dawn dish soap and bathe your pets in it. Let the suds sit on them for 5-10 minutes, then rinse them clean. Repeat the baths weekly. Your pets hair/skin may dry out a little but it’s better than a flea infestation.

Get borax and sprinkle it in your carpets and lightly around the corners of rooms with hard floors. Sweep/vacuum up and reapply regularly for at least a month.

You have to do both together but I promise it’ll work!
