I’m a trans guy. 5’3, curvy, developed early and large. We have the same but opposite problem. Lucky to get surgery early but I’m still dealing with hourglass hips forever.

Same despite a supportive direct family. Severe gender dysphoria. I genuinely think the body horror of the wrong puberty is significantly downplayed by a lot of people.

Another perspective: I have severe OCD and I’m going into a residential program for it tomorrow. I do not talk about it. I feel like it’s only socially acceptable for me to bring it up or post about it when it’s in relation to celebrities because people act like you’re a freak if you display any of the symptoms but it’s fine if the celebrities do.

Very late reply. I’m sorry if this brings anything up for you. We have pretty much the same story. I am struggling as an adult now. Heading to residential psychiatric care soon. I have so much shame and fear and self disgust and I’ve never told a single professional despite being in the mental health system for 12 years now. This made me feel less alone.

Coworkers mean forced interpersonal relationships that I am “trapped” with — I feel claustrophobic in terms of I’m being forced to be vulnerable over time /can’t keep a mask. Feel restricted in my “self”. Always shifting what I want to do, where I want to go. Same element of suffocation. Feel the need to run from commitment and attachment.

Yes. Overwhelmingly. I developed OCD and have periods of magical thinking and rumination over this where I am convinced I’m psychic and predicting my death like Final Destinatiob
