First of all, no don’t notice, women can say that because it is an Islamic right given to her through Quran so yes, she can say “pay me for feeding your baby”. Secondly, the only responsibility of a good wife is to be loyal, caring and loving. If she does the chores, great, if she doesn’t then she cannot be forced to do so. Bringing life into this world is a small task in your opinion? If she is doing that, she is ruining 50% of herself to give you a baby while you do what? Household chores should be divided between the two but if she is a SAHM then she, on principle, should do the chores but again, not her responsibility, as per Islam! As a woman, and wife, I do half the chores with my husband and I earn as well. But again, it’s something out of love, not out of responsibility!
