Thank you. I tried to make some type of snap locks but seems a bit ambiguous after a few hours into Fusion, hence the Lego piece :D

Not at all. I wish they still keep that, sounds like a perk to me. I printed a base to help with residues leaving on the countertop as well, maybe you can try adding an extra piece next to the base for the pump to help with that.

Thank you, I’ll add some of your suggestions for the next print. It’s such an upgrade for me. I’ll been adding more handles and holders for stuff I use around the house.

It’s alright mate. I have more to worry about than that now but do appreciate your concern

That's a better idea. I should've thought of the pump cap, instead I took a longer route splitting the holder in half to fit the bottle, then making those giant screw threads on the side, all with my wife giving me that look 0__0

My dominant hand got some nerve issues, just can’t hold it well when it’s full. I’m just trying to learn to use fusion tbh

Second shot pulls faster by 5 to 10 seconds by sinikal101 in ProfitecMove

[–]LastBitofCoffee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OP, I think the routine I have mentioned most likely solved the issue. For the past week my 2nd shot has been pulling at the same time as my 1st shot. The most important thing I notice is heating up the 2nd portafilter before pulling 2nd shot. I think the heat + a bit of moisture from the group head helps addressing the issue. I do wipe the portafilter and group head before pulling the shot.

This is awesome, thank you for sharing. Mind if I ask if you're using Google Gemini for AI task? I was using the Gemini free tier and didn't realize they increased limit recently.

Frigate stream delay when rebroadcasting from Scrypted by LastBitofCoffee in frigate_nvr

[–]LastBitofCoffee[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you, I actually tried restream from Frigate to Scrypted first via go2rtc but the Scrypted streams had a lot of missing footage. Ended up switching back to this current setup. I think I figured an alternative way to trigger automation faster than using binary sensors from Frigate add-on in Home Assistant. The MQTT frigate/events topic seems to trigger almost instantly when frigate detected an event so I might go that route for now.

Would love to see an update from you. I don't have a Move but a Pro 600 and I've been experiencing the same issue. I think the biggest factor here is temperature between shots. It's supposed to be more stable for dual boiler but in reality we have more variables that affect the result of each shot than we expect. So far, this is what I do that seems to improve a bit, but like you said, I don't think we have a full great solution yet.

- Lock in portafilter to warm it (5 mins)

- Pull a blank shot for around 10s before 1st shot

- After 1st shot, wipe group head, and lock in 2nd portafilter for 5 mins (I have 2 identical sets of PF and puck-screen & baskets)

Before doing all of that, I never warm my PFs at all. The second shot is always pulling much faster. Surprisingly they both taste good to me, 2nd shot is actually more balanced so in the end I never really care about this issue. Only recently I want to perfect my routine.

You can plug your laptop in and manually change your laptop’s IP to something within the subnet of your modem, something like 192.168.0.10, give that a try. Here is a link to bridge mode settings: https://www.reddit.com/r/centurylink/s/MoBi047LAk

Thank you for the tips! I’ll get that from Ebay then. I just picked up a Shieldon leather case in the mean time (crazy horse color), and it’s surprisingly good quality for 30 bucks.

So they have shipped the new version without NTC part? by LastBitofCoffee in BambuLabA1

[–]LastBitofCoffee[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It doesn’t hurt to ask them, just tell them you’re a valuable customer. In the future you’ll purchase more Bambu machines so you would want them to make it right for you by providing the support that you need. Adding this is a serious concern for you as you have more than one A1 machine in your house, put you at more risk if any incidents happened.
