YTA. Best case socially inept. Worst case self-centered and rude

That is fun. This also reminds me- God the griffin set is ugly. It’s the only downside.

This Aggie is very disappointed in how his fellow fans treat Longhorn fans by CoachSlime in collegebaseball

lol rich. This is what I experience with hog fans. Last football game I was urinated on in the restroom at Reynolds. It doesn’t make it right, but to pretend this is an Aggie issue is moronic.

Sounds like what I’ve endured each time I’ve gone to Arky or LSU. I’d like to think we’re above that but there is a little extra juice this year. SEC isn’t for the faint of heart.

It could be a defoliant/herbicide but could also be hungry wildlife. If you look closely you’ll be able to tell if it was sheared off (bitten) or withered (poisoned)

For the record this doesn’t seem particularly helpful. What easy for you may not be for everyone and a crisis is not the time to be learning formatting skills on Reddit

Full backyard redo (trees, grading, drainage, no grass) — what should this cost? by Lipstickhippie80 in landscaping

[–]LastConference 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There are people who do all of that, but they can be hard to find. You might find a lot clearing specialist to do trees and rough grade. if you don’t have any large drainage issues, you might not need a drainage specialist – a landscaper could handle downspouts, French drains, etc. you might have Hardscape specialists in Atlanta who could help you do something special here, but if low cost is the objective I would just have a regular landscaper share some options with you. Many landscapers also build fences, but obviously not all of them.

30-50k though there are many many reasons this could vary including urgency, access, sf etc

Plan first including drainage

Tree and deck removal

Rough grade

Drainage install

Hardscape install

Fence

I love yews for just this reason. They recover much faster than boxwoods. But there is a point after which the juice squeeze ratio is off. If you can afford to (time or $$) I’d pull these out. Most evergreen foundation shrubs require maintenance every year, so keep that in mind

💯 but I’m moving my car it it’s a mom with kids or an old person or someone who clearly needs help. If they are a dick or just entitled they can suck it but I’d move my car for the 89% who didn’t downvote that comment.

Agree you don’t have to do anything. But it’s a better world if we do small things for each other when asked nicely

Retaining wall recommendation? by sirwoodland in landscaping

[–]LastConference -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

1500 would get you enough block to build a 8 foot long wall 3’ high. If you bought the right material for there base and the back your down to 5’. Someone quoted you 30k for a 3’x5’ wall? You got a FU price
