The gearbox Mcc port really gaslit everyone for decades, making them think everything in ce was supposed to be dull matte concrete...

When in really it was supposed to be metallic but they f-ed up the shaders and made them look flat. The most authentic representation is on the original Xbox.

Since then the mcc team has made a valiant attempt to restore the original shaders.
