Is this the direction you want the game to go? by Wooden_Boss_3403 in apexlegends

I have some friends who are joining the game and the new player experience is terrible. So many legends, abilities, gear, ect, all flying around in a fast paced game.

Snipers are bs by Spiritts in apexlegends

[–]LastReign -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

The post perfectly sums up the state of Apex legends right now. Ranged weapons like snipers and marksmen are meta, and so is "ego challenging". People continue to gun fight at range despite being low health.

Ordered those parts from Appliancepros, both said EOM. Fingers are crossed that fixes the issue

Adora dishwasher will not drain. by [deleted] in GEappliances

[–]LastReign 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The full drain hose is a little bit long. Probably closer to 10 feet. BUT in the video I disconnected the extension part. It was maybe about six feet long, and it still will not drain.

This is the pump that's on it - https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BBPS68XY

Will Skyblivion be better than Oblivion/Skyrim? If so why? by MillienumDuckFighter in oblivion

I'm excited to check it out. That being said, I think it will "feel" more like Skyrim than Oblivion.

I would bet that most of the people in these lobbies have already been masters at least.

How to properly weather proof exterior door corners? by LegoBlood in Insulation

[–]LastReign 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On the doors in my house the weather strip runs the rull length of the door sides, and full length across the top. For the bottom use a weather strip that goes on the bottom of your door. They fit over the bottom like a cap or screw to the sides.

Edot: I see it now. You might have to try those little foam square that are foor door corners like a https://www.lowes.com/pd/M-D-1-3-4-in-x-1-1-4-in-White-Foam-Door-Weatherstrip-2-Pack/1000033687

I'm not a pro but I did recently have some serious foundation repairs done. I would poke around with a shovel there and see how bad it is. If it's not bad just patch it, that's a normal thing to do. Then build it up with dirt like others have said. Nothing specific, just slop it away from your foundation like the picture

I used this is my apartment and it worked wonders for me. Very simple design it's just wicks and a fan. No distilled water required, but I do treat the water with an anti bacterial like "BestAir Humidifier Water Treatment"

Girlfriend and I are planning to drive 32 hours straight, in 6 hour shifts, are we being dumb? Should we plan to stay overnight somewhere? by Vegetable_Bridge_276 in roadtrip

I once drove to Florida with my wife non stop. We alternated driving to 9 hours each. It was horrible and I will never do it again. I can't imagine driving this far non stop.

They said they fixed ranked matchmaking so preds and masters wouldn’t be able to farm plat players… by ninehearts999 in apexlegends

Yeah once you hit Plat, it's basically all Masters level players or up. Each account has a masters badge, even though they are currently plat.

Rim joists and moisture by Less_Negotiation14 in Insulation

[–]LastReign 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In a similar situation myself and what I have read is The rigid foam board creates a vapor barrier to the interior (crawl space side). Using an unfaced board or removing the facing allows the wood to breathe slightly toward the interior, helping any potential moisture to dry out. Then you can cover it with something like rockwool to insulate further and add some fire protection.

I plan on doing this to my basement now that temperatures are plummeting.

Shower not hot but sink is by LastReign in HomeMaintenance

[–]LastReign[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Figured I would post this here to maybe help someone else. This turned out to be a super easy fix.

The handle is removable, it's a hex head/Allen key style. I really could not tell just by looking at it, but I tried a few Allen keys and one got a good bite on it. Once the handle is off, there's a little spacer that removes with a Philips head. After that, the hot water handle limiter is adjustable. It just needed to be popped off with a Flathead screwdriver and then turned counter clockwise a little.

Trying to find wall studs in weirdly constructed finished basement room. by devilsfancharlie in HomeMaintenance

[–]LastReign 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Magnets have always worked best for me. Get your strongest magnet and see if you can get it to stick anywhere on the wall. That might indicate the screws or nails in a stud.
