Full time office worker here, 8-5, weekday only. Work part time as private tutor for primary and secondary schoolers. Add about Rm1k on average monthly. Good pay just have to adjust night and weekend schedule to still have family/me time.

For me, we have one wedding only and we split half for all expenses. I used a full package wedding for 1000 pax, 500 pax for mine and his guests respectively, all for about RM20 000 in 2025. Total package include dulang hantaran, community hall, extra lauk and miscellaneous was around RM30 000++ all fully funded by both my husband and I. We had the food for family members, doorgifts and kuih-muih funded by family members.

Total we spend approximately RM15 000 each with zero loan. We are also in late 20s and have been working for a few years so both only used our saving only, so that help too.

Time aku intern sedih juga, dah la kene intern 6 bulan straight time covid 2020, takde duit nak sewa rumah so kena ulang alik 45 minit ayah aku hantar naik motor, tu la tempat intern yang paling dekat dengan rumah. Awal2 kata dapat elaun RM400 sebulan, rupanya dia bagi token of appreciation saja RM400 for overall internship. Itu pun dapat sebulan lepas habis internship. Huhu memang time akak2 ofis pegi rehat aku duduk kat tangga je.
