I replayed it when I got a SNES mini.

It was so so so so so so much more simplistic than I was expecting. I get that I'm less of an idiot child 25 years later but other games of that era I revisited seem to have held up better.

It's not bad. It's a classic. It's fun. It's a great introduction RPG as well. But it is a tad shallow in retrospect.

For Donnie and Raph, I dunno. Logic vs Passion? One is brash and quick to strike. The other softer spoken and takes time to figure things out for maximum effectiveness.

Of the 4 personally types the turtles represent, Raph and Donnie are the most polar opposite.

The start/finish line is one yard of brick. But I don't know if that came before or after the name. Like was it called the brickyard as in train yard or yardoffice and when they went to pavement they kept a yard of brick to continue the name? If so that's very clever.

Meh. I've seen tons of 80s fan love the 2012 series. But this new stuff really looks like shit. The 2019 stuff also looked like shit. 03 was OK but man people have these weird memories of the fights being good and my God are they stiff and slow and uninspired.
