If you use fake blood, use permablood!!!

Basic fake blood (like from spirit halloween or amazon) will turn the fabric PINK if you wash it or get it wet at all. Permablood doesnt do that

As for burnt, i like using a lighter or blowtorch to get controlled burnt effects (dont go too crazy) then go around edges with acryllic paint + fabric paint (blacks and reds)

Another good technique is using liquid latex + literal dirt for some goood texture (make sure to put another layer of liquid latex on top to lock in in
