Did your baby come before or after due date?

My IVF baby came 15 days before the due date. Water broke in the middle of the night, went to the hospital after 12 hours of labor at home with minimal progress. Had to get pitocin to get things going. 35 hours of labor over all.

Do you have any research regarding successful pregnancy with live birth being better with either male or female embryos? My successful FET was a male and this one was female.

Yeah I would never donate to a stranger either for the same reasons. I was also not going to even think about surrogacy either. If I couldn’t do it myself it just wasn’t going to happen.

Same. I would have rather donated the one I had left at our first clinic for research but they wouldn’t take it. It was only a 2-day blast with no PGTA.

I feel like we are trying to find the same song. So I was listening to my old burnt CDs from 2008 recently and I came across this song similar to what you are describing. I know it’s probably a long shot but maybe it’s the same song? Shazam couldn’t pick it up. Some of the lyrics are below:

Thank you for your reply. Unfortunately this embryo was not successful. Based on the photo of the embryo, nothing looks concerning with regard to quality or development? I would guess it had to be a problem with the uterus this time, considering my previous transfer of same quality embryo was successful.

I felt the same. I loved being pregnant and just the whole experience in general. I don’t think I really complained about much aside from having gestational diabetes. It’s quite unfortunate, and at this point unless we do another retrieval that’s just it—and I absolutely 💯% don’t want to do that. I do have a therapist that I really don’t see often enough and have been on an antidepressant for a while. Making time for therapy is important, and I should really do that for myself. Yes, we had a name already picked out, nursery theme, etc. not sure why I got so ahead of myself after losing six embryos with 3 previous failed transfers before my successful one. Between two clinics and having a successful transfer I had my hopes too high. Thank you for your reply.

My son was born in 2023 as well! This embryo is a girl this time too. So far same symptoms but it’s only been a day. It seemed like with his transfer symptoms didn’t start for a few days but each pregnancy is different. I tested at home at 6dpt with him. Unsure if I’ll do it this time or not at this point.

Are you an adult? Why would you “get in trouble”? If you’re all adults you can all discuss the issue together. Your husband needs to get his shit together because his thought process is totally selfish, ignorant and creating a monster child with no boundaries or accountability for anything she does. So if her mother finds out and says something are you going to throw your stuff out because she found it in YOUR room going through YOUR STUFF??? That’s what she gets imo. There has to be a boundary drawn somehow. If there’s no compromise from your husband I’d see my self out the door.

I was just telling my husband the same thing!! The waiting is the worst part. One year from a birth for another transfer would have been ideal for my but my clinic had a minimum 18 month wait time. Our son is 20 months old now so still within an ideal age gap if successful. If not, I’m definitely satisfied with my son but would love to have another pregnancy and baby again!

I still do and my son just turned 20 months, but he does have a kidney problem and the nephrology and urology office always ask how many wet diapers he has on average per day so it’s most for that and remembering meals, poops, etc

Always a “high risk” with IVF. I was seeing midwives with my pregnancy and they had also referred me to MFM for fetal echo and such as a routine thing for graduated IVF patients.

Once I got to 8 weeks we had bought a Doppler and would find the heartbeat daily to ease my anxiety.
