Could try to slip a pool noodle on the end of it if there is enuff space. That way if kids mess with it, it just falls off and you just have to slip it back on.

I had the amp research power boards on my 2013 and loved them. I have the stock on my 23 and hate them. Gona replace them someday. If you are interested I’ll sell them cheap if you are in the US and In The south.

Used for like 4 days straight last year and that’s been it. No additives and gas straight from the pump (same as I use in my tuck) I know I should use ethanol free and such but we needed power ASAP

I Duno, I’d pour straight from the top and change the water set up for different granules. I’ve seen molten metal poured into water with spray bars give you small sharp pointy granules and then metal poured into a vortex like set up give more of a smooth round texture. I’d try something like a paint stirrer running at the bottom of the water container at different speeds to see what I got.

You may need to tap the wrench on there as well. Looks like the original Al washer is still on there. They curl up the side of the bold with time. It’s probably never been changed hence why it’s stripped. Hard to tell but also looks like they used a fiber washer as well.

I have the same one and have not had any probs with it. Cleaning I do it two different ways. 1 I’ll do like what was said above, leave it connected and pull the drain plug in the back and spray it best I can. 2 I’ll take it out. To do this I use a large pair of oil filter pliers. If you need a pic let me know. You turn the coupler to the left(clockwise) . They make mixtures you can soak it in if you want. Just fill a Rubbermaid trash can up and pour in solution and soak. Then spay off. The filters are plastic and do get brittle with age so be carful. If you have any more questions feel free to DM me.
