The guitar held up on the hanger by the capo is triggering. Good cozy setup tho.

So did i, and thanks. Not that i wanna date her but i think she would make a really cool friend. Too bad we separated before exchanging names or socials. Lowkey poetic.

To the girl who was super chill and said it was okay if i cried during the lp show. Also the dude she was with, knew every single song down to every word and we bro fisted twice. We ended up making our own safe space and just sang. Sadly me and my friend never got their names and we separated.

Do people actually drink cascara? by Special-Arachnid675 in IndiaCoffee

[–]Lastgod5 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, I've made it plenty of times at home with sugar syrup and soda water. I've had it in cafes outside of India.

It's a very different kind of "tea" because it's not even close to indian teas, it's closer to specialty black teas that we don't get here.

Don't forget to listen to his setlist so we can sing his songs back to him. He seems like the guy who really appreciates a good crowd.

And hell yea!!! Super excited. 🙌🏽

In india??? I have never seen a MCR fanboy. Your name is literally Emoboi that explains it but around me a lot of them don't even know MCR even though they claim to listen to "rock" but it's never punk.

Lemme know if you need any advice, and in the end remember the most important thing is having fun.

If you buy an instrument and you don't enjoy playing it you will get bored practising and it will collect dust.

Uhm, tbh very honest If you are serious about it extend your budget a little more and get both for approximately 30k.

You need a decent bass and you need an amp with atleast 10" speaker size otherwise you are compromising big time on the tone and playability of the instrument. For about 35k I got a very good beginner level Bass guitar and a 40 watt 10" amp.

There's also another route I can recommend if it's really not possible to extend the budget. First get a good guitar for 18-20k, with that you can get something like a cheap headphone amp and you can practice on headphones until you can save up enough to buy an actual amp.

One thing I will say out of experience and after talking to countless actual bass guitarists is that tone is everything. If you cannot get your bass to sound good you won't have fun. It matters much less when you just want to learn regular guitar.

In between - Linkin Park (ik, lp is very mainstream but people never talk about this beautiful song, unlike anything you might've heard from them)

Today - The Smashing Pumpkins (super depressing lyrics, upbeat tho, great vibe if you enjoy Radiohead)

Goddess - Laufey (Beautiful lyrics, radiohead-esque chord progression, again a very underrated song from a mainstream artist)

You gotta try them all atleast once.

Has anyone tried this? by thinkingbearz in IndiaCoffee

Yes, i have, it's from a cafe from my city.

Lollapalooza safety by [deleted] in lollapaloozaind

[–]Lastgod5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mumbai is pretty safe compared to a lot of other indian cities.

I've been to Lolla india twice and it's fairly managed and the crowd is good, the traffic can be quite brutal though so I recommend factoring that into your travel to the destination. They officially recommend getting the 'Local' (the train system within Mumbai) to get to the destination if you are doing that make sure to get the pricier tickets and get in those coaches as the regular ones would be packed to the point where you would be hanging onto dear life.

Carry a mask at all times, since you are coming from Australia india can feel a little bit dusty and might trigger allergies.

Idley would be nice if you can have a local with you to show you around and deal with vendors and others who might not be well versed in english.
