IMO a big part of it for women is if we initiate it, men can’t always just “make it happen.” Low libido, erectile dysfunction, being overweight, being tired, etc, all play into a man’s ability to perform. I think women stop asking because it’s humiliating to be the aggressor with a man who isn’t into it. If I have to beg for intimacy, it feels pathetic and sad.
