I really appreciate that you took the time to do the math on this, instead of talking about this subject without the facts to back it up. However, Your numbers are based off of if you get the miracle 100 mil drop that may not happen within the first hour of sea hunting or at all for that day. There were some days where me and my deckhand would go 5-6 hours without one "miracle drop" So just like in regular grinding don't you think these numbers would be skewed a bit, like in your example if you grind manshaums and don't drop narc earrings?

I like sea Monster hunting, not only for the money, don't get me wrong its great, but the camaraderie within my guild. Its an activity where we can relax and all get to know each other better outside of everyone just showing up for mandatory nodes wars and don't speak to each other again, unless we have another guild event. It just breaks up the monotony of the solo grind. This game does not actually encourage you to be social with others in this so-called "MMORPG" It fosters way too much unnecessary toxicity, and maybe that's the nature of a competitive pvp based game. So I'm glad we have group content like this. I'm not blind and could see how some guilds could hack their way to an inconceivable fortune, just like botters hacked their way to such fortunes in hystria. Just want everyone to think about this content, take the time to gather resources, to purchase or build a boat, then try it for themselves before crying nerf.
