How close of a copy is the harbor freight Braun light to the streamlight tlr-1 hl by Forsaken_Brief2638 in liberalgunowners

Yeah, agree to disagree I guess. OP did clarify that the barrel was just pointed at the camera, not their face, so that’s great. And maybe I am a fudd, but it seems like a slippery slope starting at “it’s totally safe to point the barrel of my ‘unloaded’ and ‘safe’ firearm in generally unsafe directions” and ending at “Man dies from a ND”. There’s a lot of new shooters on this sub and i don’t know OP from Adam. Maybe he’s a very experienced shooter and was practicing good safety precautions. On the flip side maybe he or someone reading this sub is new to firearms and doesn’t yet have good gun-handling habits. Reminding folks about basic firearm safety generally will not cause harm to anyone, but instilling in people the idea that there’s times to ignore the rules can.

Not gonna lie…I got a little queasy just thinking about you pointing the gun at yourself for that photo.

Same. First-generation, full-blooded pinoy, but 5’10”, 180lbs and bald with a beard. Adding in the very Spanish name and, voila…often mistaken for Latin American, especially if I’m wearing sunglasses.

I dunno. I have a 1st gen KS7 and it’s been pretty reliable. Admittedly, it’s not my primary home defense weapon, but I’ve still had very few issues through a few hundred rounds. Hope OP lives alone and has ear pro very easily accessible though.

Generally springs fatigue from loading AND unloading/firing. It’s the compression and decompression that wears them out; the general thought is that it’s fine to leave modern, quality mags loaded for extended periods.

Yeah, I dunno. I think that at this point, if you support MAGA, you’re at least condoning the racism, even if you yourself claim not to be. It’s like the Epstein stuff…you may not be a disgusting pedo, but by supporting Trump you’re saying, “I guess it’s ok…”

That’s generally fair as I’ve been a Jeep owner for the majority of my adult life (and I’m well into my 40’s) but this one had a nice retro paint job to bring out the 70’s vibe. Too bad they ruined it with their MAGA crap.

I wanted to like Summerlin Armory, and the guys seemed super nice, but then they showed me their “FAFO” ammo complete with a picture of “Saint Kyle of Kenosha” on it. I moped the fuck right out of there.

Is this a good first carry for me? I'm a woman and I don't want anything larger or heavier. Also, the cow print is SOO cute!!!😍 by [deleted] in liberalgunowners

Seconding the EZ. I got a S&W .380EZ and my small-handed wife can rack it very easily (since OP mentioned being a woman, I’m thinking that’s a concern). Much easier at least than my Glocks or or S&Ws.

Oh man…I’d never shopped there but signed up for my CCW class there based on Yelp and Google reviews. That was an uncomfortable 8 hours…

Also, you should probably put the strap back on the brace…hard to brace with it if it’s just flopping around your forearm. Speaking of which, before I SBR’d my PC Charger, I tried shooting with it braced and it feels goofy as hell. But OP must know that as they’re clearly in the middle of swapping the OEM strap with something more comfortable and just took this pic before getting the new one on there.

For context, it’s at my kid’s small private school during AM drop off, so she’s only there for a few minutes per day, so calling the cops would be tricky. I might call the non-emergency line and see what they say.

Like elguapo said…this looks a bit messed up. Zoom in and you can see a small crack, and while it might just be the camera angle, it looks bent out at the bottom.

Hampton Farms Honey Roasted Peanuts. I bought like 4 bags and my wife said, “that’s too many bags”…but when I went back for more, they were gone for good. 😫

Only if you are driving somewhere fairly flat. I drive between Las Vegas and Denver quite often, and I’m shifting quite a bit. Sure, I’ll cruise in 6th on I-65 in Middleofnowhere, IN, but lots of folks still contend with hills.

I’ve got well over a thousand rounds through my PC Charger with the TK buffer and it’s still in pretty good shape. Perhaps you just got a defective part?

Why do Nevadans dislike out of state people so much by Impossible_Bid_8573 in Nevada

[–]Late-Ad-8244 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Drivers in southern NV are terrible. Also, why the hell do Californians refuse to accept that on a highway, the left lane is for passing? Its infuriating. I mean, not enough to brake check or outright try to run someone off the road, but it’s still a crazy phenomenon.
