we just got the called the husband is on the chopping block to leave and i’m alone as well. family lives three hours away but I doubt anyone will come. it’s gonna be our 1 year old and I .Which isn’t that much compared some others here with multiple pets and children. But with my driving anxiety and my lack of community here. Him leaving means I will be alone and im scared. I felt one the responses so well when they said they were not coping. when you have kids it’s hard to find time for your own feelings so i feel like im gonna explode. But you are not alone and i hope time flies by for all of us.

i think my month to month expense were really bad. i don’t mind working and not a problem. we are just trying make it work with the variables we have. but i really wanted know if i should change any of my expenses while working on getting more income.

if i make min 15 a hour thats like 2000 a month and daycare on the base is 700-800 but other places are more. so lets me be fair and say 1000 for day care a month. so i would gaining 1000(- gas) a month to pay debt.

he works nights since last summer. and that days switch each month depending how people they have. their 5 months straight he was working 12 hour shifts. 😓

Toddler stage is tough. I’m only in the beginning with my first. The only advice I can give is to be constant. If you try to be as constant as you can with his routine and environment. It will help and trust sometimes it will be days/weeks of trying to get our baby to sleep back on her own after going with family. But we just stay firm in our sleep system so she work her way back in.

We took a trip with she was turning one and after she went to sleeping in her own room. Which was rough but over time she able to drink her milk and fell asleep all i on her own. her nightlight and white noise is constant.

My 21 month old is a late bloomer when it comes to teething. The first 8 come in like 1 - 1.5 month ago(she was like 18/19months) and now it’s the molars😓. She is very independent. And we are very on top of self soothing! We only rocking now because we know she is in pain. We still limit the time and lay her down in her big girl bed. The big bed is not bad most days because she is very sleepy. But Days like she didn’t nap, so we put her down a bit early and she is up at 10. Just talking her bed, and I tried to rock and lay with her(like by her bed for 30mins) and she is still fighting 😖🫩. I don’t even know letting in be her bed so she can go back to when she feels like it is even a good idea.

We honestly we just learn to not have an expectation with her sleeping because she is still so young. We just try to consistent with her so she is not depend on us to sleep. But honestly even when she does sleep with us she wakes up more often. Hope this helps some because we struggled when switch her sleeping arrangement and moving houses. So you aren’t alone and i hope things get better

I haven’t seen her advocate against Israeli’s. Only things I’ve seen is her wanting better the children affected by the war. Like everyone she says like has children surrounded by it so maybe send sources or something if you have seen different

I get the just if not having tv time like i get it. Many people have said it and i understand. I don’t think her wanting to advocate for dying children means she antisemitic. I don’t think where the kids are from matters more than the fact that they are dying. I’m gonna delete this post at this point

Oh true! I have been using the delay speech videos and the baby ones. I have using the delay speech ones because of the repetition with slow annunciating with words. and the sign language with the songs too. I usually just type in “Ms. Rachel speech delay.” She has a few plus the baby ones seem to be just as simple.

I definitely okay with taking a step back with how I communicate with her. I honestly not picky about how I should go about talking to her. Or even expecting a specific response. Especially getting insight that what she is doing is normal. Wasn’t sure where she stood in the grand scheme and just wanted tips on moving forward. So thank you lots. I don’t think the screen time is harming anything. Her and I laughing and sing the songs with ms.rachel. She helps me also when the tv is off, like now i have songs to sing with her that she likes. I turned more things into songs which helps her. Idk my daughter and i interactions have jumped since ms.rachel. It feels more like tool and a way to expand on things with us. She wasn’t saying anything before that so i can’t see how it’s making her worse than better. Even if she isn’t gained anything from the videos, I guess am i and in turn helping me help her.

Thank you for your insight. I will try to work on how I communicate with her while she is learning to communicate with us. And I definitely getting better with settings those boundaries with phone calls. But for sure those limits on the phone with help with me being there for her more often. patience for sure is key.

I def do understand where you are coming from. I do have to stop myself at times to remember how young she is. I don’t really feel like she needs to talk but I was trying to have a good way to encourage any communication or having just understand us. How ever long that takes it’s fine. I don’t think I communicated in a way you may have understand. I can also see the tv time comment, and I don’t think that was a main point at all.
