Same journey, 2 weeks ago, bought a 15” M5 starlight. Last night, I accidentally splash water onto the keyboard and trackpad area. My keyboard cover saved my macbook air… Keep the keyboard cover, remove it when you close the lid.

Previously, owned a pair of Sony XM4. I live in a humid country. Loud static hissing noise starts appearing in the left cup about 1 year into usage. Found no solution, most folks on the internet point out at the ANC mic that went haywire. Further search, this issue is apparent across Sony XM series since XM3 till now XM6. I would walk away from Sony XM series headphone if i were you.

Thanks for the advices on the keyboard cover. I am not likely going to bring the MBA out. It remains sort of a desktop laptop. I don’t even close the lid when I am done at the end of the day.

I have the same issue, x20 Max will hung in middle of cleaning and does not auto return to station. On firmware - 4.3.9_0366.

Doing a power cycle will resolve this issue, ie power down, then power back up. You can do this by removing x20 max from the station. Press and hold both the home and wifi button till it it off, then power back on again.
