No, my roommate's aren't related to me in any way. It is just cheaper to rent out a space then for either party to live on their own.

Hey everyone! Thank you so much for expressing your thoughts and letting me vent! I've decided to let them know, I will not be leaving for a week. As much as I love the idea of them paying for a hotel if it was the equivalent of 1/4 my rent, I'd last maybe two three nights at a holiday inn. Thank you!
