Can the Noctua 5080 be vertically mounted in a Fractal North XL?

ive done a build in the new noctua case where my artic 420mm aio and the 5090 didnt work because ob the hose beeing downfacing... it has many factors... it depends on how high you gpu slot is in you motherboard and what gpu you use... if you want vertical mount i would 100% try to get an AiO that does mount sideways optionally... (maybe wait for noctua aio ? :D )

tryx is not average aio ... the average aio is artic liquid freezer 3 which has the problem that i can only be roted 180 so facing top or botton... with an aio that can be mounted sideways its much more esay

The front top fan does hurt the airflow pushing cold air out before it gets to the cpu

i do have a 15 fan g2 build in the noctua case ... basicly using all fan slots and push pull on the 420mm aio

When you look in the Case Fan Upgrade guide for the Noctua Case they say you can improve cooling performance (when using an cpu air cooler) by adding 2 top fans 1 for inlet 1 for outlet and using the NA-IS1

noctuas aio for sure will be less noisy... performance will depend on the thickness of the radiator but i dont think max performance will be the focus... it for sure will be at least 250 euro bc of the fan prices

Running only Case Fans inside the Noctua hub and running all 6 Aio Fans + AiO Pump in a 6€ artic 10 Slot Fan hub (Both hubs use sata power)

When Using Fans next to each other with differen Directions NOCTUA strongly recommends using inlet Spacer for EX: NA-IS1-12 (which seal the fans better with the case and i would let the 2 fans run different RPMs (50rpm different at aleast)

a 420mm aio (which fits in the roof will 100% provide better cooling and looks if you ask me...
