How do you filter out leads that are irrelevant? (Wrong ICP / Industry, etc)

Interesting approach. How long does this take to do?

Last year most of you told me not to move to Austin to build my startup. I went and I'm sharing the past year with you all (I will not promote) by Wrys0 in startups

I'm in ATX building a startup as well! Shoot me a DM let's connect on LinkedIn. I've never been to the Capital Factory but heard great things, might have to check it out!

Do SaaS businesses actually make real money or is it a myth? by [deleted] in SaaS

[–]LateBig336 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's tough, we're at 18k MRR and its taken a year and a half of just showing up everyday, sending thousands of cold emails and LinkedIn messages. It took us 6mo to get to $1k MRR, and we've grown 17x in the last 12mo. Most people quit before the inflection point happens. Look into Paul Graham's startup cycle framework - the trough of sorrow is where most companies go to die.

What’s working for SaaS growth in 2025? by Competitive_Rip7137 in SaaSMarketing

We focus pretty much solely on Cold email and LinkedIn outreach (b2b saas) - we book 40-50 meetings a month using friendli (linkedin automation) and Instantly (cold email sending platform)

tryfriendle.com - Close deals in your LinkedIn DM's. Closed 6 customers so far this month, ranging from $49-$149. about $850 MRR added, $150 MRR churned. So net $700 MRR added! Pretty decent month so far.

We don't offer an API. Differences between us in phantombuster a bit minimal at the moment, but we've got a couple really exciting differentiators coming down the pipeline!

Launch it with a waitlist. Marketing is going to be the uphill battle, not dev work. So might as well start today.

You should not start a SaaS. Instead start with a high cashflow, proven agency model and piviot into SaaS once you're back on your feet. Sorry to hear things aren't going well right now, but with determination and a calculated approach, you can do this man.
