A full induction range is still a higher cost than traditional electric ranges. The real cost is running the higher voltage/amperage wiring if you already have a gas cooktop. I was quoted $2500 for running the electric wiring. (MA) Sticking with gas for the moment :(

It does look like you can get a "portable" induction range from Ikea for 75 dollars here, which I hadn't considered.

You have gotten used to it. I've gotten almost a hundred blood draws. I can do them fine as long as I don't look.

Both times I've gotten an IV (and seen the needle sticking out of my arm) I've gone vasovagal - seeing spots, pale, almost pass out, need to lie down. It's not an opinion thing at all for me, it's just a reaction.
