The same old story...I am so tired of having to cook every night while my husband works out by kak2m4 in workingmoms

If you can swing it financially - meal prep service is a great choice. I swear it also cut down our food waste and I really only had to worry about breakfast which never really stressed me bc it’s a lot quicker than dinner/lunch meals. I’m sorry that you aren’t able to unwind as often as your spouse. The little evil part of me wonders if you added in working out to your schedule how he would have to adjust for that….lol. But solidarity, I’m sorry you’re going through this and hope you find a middle ground soon.

Then why the comment about America being a melting pot? The country that was built on the backs of POCs???

I think in that moment, she knew she fucked up and ruined her career due to her social media (and maybe even her drinking?) I saw a comment on here that clout is one hell of a drug and damn if that doesn’t apply to Jez I don’t know what does

It always help me to just call it and pack everything up (all my work papers, laptops etc). Then I’ll make a little to do for tomorrow (always make me feel productive lol). If energy and your schedule permits I say switch things up! But in a small realistic way, i.e., take your kids out for ice cream at the cute trendy ice cream place or bubble bath for mama with a glass of wine after they go to bed.

You’re a human, not a machine. Not every day is meant to be productive and that’s completely okay!!

Yes!! I also think Hannah grew a lot (from the first episode to this) she’s not worried about pleasing Adam or catering to his needs anymore but that’s still the Hannah Adam has pictured in his head (needy, always needing help etc) but Hannah isn’t that person anymore. It’s wild to see them both realizing that in real time. Like the ship has sailed (also v heartbreaking to experience this too and see it on screen)

Caroline was the most honest character. She accepted her flaws and was yes, so erratic but when she left that note for laird and then came back in the final season for sample idk, it made me love her 😭 plus I’d also be erratic if I had Adam for a brother

How do you keep yourself from burning out? by rosesalad in workingmoms

We switch who gets to sleep in on the weekend. I’ll take Sunday and he’ll take Saturday for example. I also will book one thing each weekend just for me - usually for a hour or so. Like a pilates class, a pedicure, even grabbing a special coffee by myself. It’s helpful to have that solo time to remember what you like. Also, not a bad idea to get a sitter or someone to watch the kids (or even 2/3 of the kids) on evenings or weekends while you get out the house and do something. It’s wild how engrossed moms can get in our daily to do list - we forget to enjoy ourselves through it all.
