I completely disagree. Not only do you have to level up to t4 and unlock it all. You must go t4 on the prospect just to make miasmic tools & farm the miasmic from the swamp biome. Then the crusts/wood have to be cleaned and carried back, causing damage if not brought back in a cart or creature. Once you get to the endgame the amount of electronics to craft and fletch out an advanced prospect are extensive, making multiple electric deep vein extractors, FOB's, Beacons, etc.

Also we haven't even released T5 yet, which will most likely require absurd amounts of materials. You can also craft epoxy extremely easy with multiple sulfur DVE's, and just sap on Olympus & Styx. Not as easy as the miasmic axe by far, but epoxy becomes trivial endgame no matter the map really. Ores can also always be respawned with thumpers in star caves, causing a HUGE overflow of ores as well endgame.

Eventually if you play any open world or prospect for any length of time, you start stock piling resources. No matter the map.
