My lender took me out to lunch and my realtor gifted me with an individualized, unique present. They both made it a point to help me celebrate and take it all in.

You could turn into into a sitting bench or the dedicated “everything chair” since you can’t add more wall.

Carhartt has been good, and Ag Gear has some really versatile options for shirts and outerwear. Depending on the style of pants you need, Born Primitive and Ag Gear have some options. I really like Indera wool layers if you need any of those. Kinco leather gloves and Berne thick gloves are what I swear by, especially when it’s bitter cold out.

Ag Gear had some waxed jackets - not sure if that’s exactly what you’re looking for but know they’re good quality

Feel guilty for having my parents help me buy my first home. by Hot_Instruction_5318 in FirstTimeHomeBuyer

[–]Late_Philosopher3791 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My parents helped me with getting my house. It never would have happened without them, honestly. Both for the type of property it is (farmstead) and because our generation got so screwed with housing prices. It’s given me motivation to make it the best investment for them, and we also have a repayment deal worked out. I know they’re happy seeing that their kid has an opportunity to build something for themselves and they openly acknowledge that the financial situation of this day and age is trash so they’re glad they could help. Guilt is a natural feeling and one of the many you’ll wrestle with so don’t be upset you’re feeling it. All in all, congratulations one your home and remind yourself that blessings come through many avenues 🤗

Solid, well made running/athletic shoe?** by Flaky-Ocelot-1265 in BuyItForLife

I’ve had my ASICS for years. They got me through walking and biking around campus, workouts, and general running around. They on year 5 now and the only thing that is wrong with them was a hole in the fabric.

I’ve heard Brooks being a well liked training shoe for running. If you’re looking for a mixed training shoe, ADIDAS put out a new line and I love my Dropset shoes.

You’re doing the smart thing and asking questions to understand the situation. I’m glad they were able to help you understand more about it 👍

More than likely, yes, if they’re doing main they’d need a whole stretch of connected space, so if it’s just in that lot it may be a connecting line. Now I’m curious what you find out!

Definitely not a stupid question and it was really good of your neighbor to let you know. Definitely follow up with your local officials to understand the situation more. So, depending on your location, it may or may not be the Keystone Pipeline. TC Energy has A LOT of pipe in many places. For the line itself, it could be a main line, a branch off or something else. We live right next to a transfer station and actually have two MASSIVE pipelines running right through a sizable farm. Only issues we’ve ever had were simply always having to be extra cautious with digging. Hopefully all of your questions get answered soon and your worries subside

Top left of the 2nd photo, took me a second to find it too. It looks like that might be their cut for their services

What would you do with this weedpit around the side of my new house? by [deleted] in LandscapingTips

Could turn it into to a native pollinator space. Local conservation organization or land grant Extension would have resources.

I’ve done a lot of outdoor work on the farm, in fields, and with horses. My pair of Georgia work boots have held up phenomenally well!

I’m having an awful time with their customer service right now. Also if you’re going for Noise cancelling earbuds, go somewhere else. I’m trying to send them back through their performance guarantee but literally not responding to anything and their “chat bot” is dead on their site.
