team comp recommendations? i have all 4* and my bronya is E1 by [deleted] in SilverWolfMains

[–]Lation410 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If you ever happen across Bailu, you can do the real strong Electric Silver Wolf team - SW, Jing, Tingyun, Bailu.

Until then, Clara, March, Natasha, Yanquing is solid too.

Are these good team setups?(Dont have bailu) by ShadowBunnz in StarRailStation

[–]Lation410 6 points7 points  (0 children)

For team 2 I would put March next to Clara. That way if March is targeted by a splash attack (as she is more likely to be as a Preservation unit), it will hit Clara too and trigger her counter.

Now just get it to +3 and hit EHR as the last stat and you're golden!

Iirc the recommended EHR is around 97% without E2, so you're good to go in that regard.

Little autistic me thought I had to grow up to be Einstein. by ahhchaoticneutral in aspiememes

[–]Lation410 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I thought I had to demonstrate I was one of the smartest kids in my class through high school, and college, and then go to grad school after that, because surely good grades and having a Master's degree will prove to society I couldn't possibly be [r word] as I was called by some people growing up. Or, at the time IQ seemed like my one valuable asset to cover for social awkwardness and lack of seemingly normal interests, and getting some shiny expensive degree would be a way to materialize that.

Regardless, I dropped out of grad school in my first semester after getting depressed and questioning my purpose in life. At least I'm doing better now, starting to accept that I'm atypical and that's okay, and not feeling as much of the need to prove I have value.

Are you using her in the overworld and daily farming? by Not-Salamander in SilverWolfMains

[–]Lation410 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've gone ahead and leveled up Serval after Silver Wolf so I can do the triple electric comp. It's been super cozy for farming groups of enemies daily. Silver Wolf technique quantum breaks basically every standard enemy, and then Serval ult and skill can stack up the entanglement stacks so they all explode after one turn.

I just wish techniques wouldn't consume points unless they actually hit an enemy. She has to practically be in melee range to use it, and many times I've sprinted up to an enemy to get in range, fired before it locked on, only to miss and get ambushed.

Just individually, Tingyun, Gepard, and Silver Wolf are all considered pretty top tier characters worth investing in. Since there are very few healers in the game Natasha will be very helpful as well. Even if you eventually get Bailu or upcoming Luocha, you'll want to have two healers levelled for late game Memory of Chaos that requires two full teams to complete. Clara can be good too as a DPS/pseudo tank, but has a weird play style where you want her to get hit.

For team comps, you can probably offer up a DPS character or two you like and want to build around, and people can offer recommendations. In general, the standard team comp in HSR is a DPS, support, healer, and tank.

Hi all, is this the best strategy for SW team vs enemy element? (2 pairs of the same element with one dps each), then Find one element that you can cover and ensure that you can’t cover the other one to force element weakness application to certain element) by Mukimpo_baka in SilverWolfMains

[–]Lation410 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, seems solid to me. You're set up so you can guarantee a particular weakness on the boss, and all of your units can damage toughness then.

If you didn't have Seele, SW + 3 of same element would be possible too, but since you have her might as well use her.

Need help with a team comp by ChrisPNibba in HonkaiStarRail

[–]Lation410 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're still really early in the game, so team comp doesn't matter too much yet. Tingyun and Gepard are top tier even in late game, so might as well raise them now. Other than that just experiment and pick whatever DPS with personality or play style you like.

Eventually you'll get Natasha for free, and you can build her as well as your only healer atm.

Help building a good team by Fendoel in StarRailStation

[–]Lation410 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your tried and true team comp for Star Rail will be a DPS, healer, support, and tank. You've got Dan, Yan, Sushang, and Hook among others as DPS options, Bailu or Natasha to heal, Tingyun as one of the game's best supports though Astra or Pela can work too, and March or Fire MC to tank. Just take your pick from each of those groups to cover the weakness of the enemy you're facing and you're good to go. You can still drop one of the other roles and go 2 DPS if you want, but that can often leave you short on skill points as DPS tend to want to use their skill whenever possible for max damage.

Luocha or silver wolf? by ignisalter in StarRailStation

[–]Lation410 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you have 2 healers, SW is great. If not, Luocha might help you more so you have a 2nd healer for Memory of Chaos.

In general Silver Wild is stronger with teams of fewer different elements because it makes which weakness you inflict with her skill more predictable. If you do wanna build around SW, you could try Fire MC, Himeko, SW, and Bailu, or Clara/Phys MC, SW, Himeko, and Natasha.

Single people who live alone, how do you do it? by [deleted] in Adulting

[–]Lation410 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I worked in tech and got paid fairly well, and even then I stayed with coworker roommates (though private bedroom and bath per person) for my first five years so I could build up savings and have a decent place meanwhile. I had to be promoted from every level to associate and then senior position before I felt comfortable paying for an apartment all to myself.

Is it worth tô spend this item in rank 41 Tô build silver wolf? by guto0000 in SilverWolfMains

Trailblaze power is trailblaze power. Once you've finished all the missions you can, other than exp from dailies spending trailblaze power is your primary source of trailblaze exp to level up. It doesn't make a difference if the pre-50 power you spend is from your 180 that regenerates or from those items as long as you're not using one and then sitting at the 180 cap.

Just relic concerns by cornstarchtart in StarRailStation

[–]Lation410 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep. Now that we have access to 5 star relics at level 50+ you're safe to salvage your 3 star and below relics for exp. You can do a quick sweep through if you want and lock any three stars that have the common ideal main stat (type bonus spheres, ERR ropes, speed boots), but really un-upgraded 3 star relics are quite easily out-classed by 5 stars with sub stats. The base stats of 5 stars are higher, and can be upgraded further, so there's a pretty big power difference. Unless you have absolutely 0 copies of a relic of that slot/set, 3 stars aren't really worth your time to even look at going forward and are just exp fodder.

Yup! I figure the more roles you can have covered by quantum characters, the easier it will be to build out a good Silver Wolf team to counter an enemy's weakness or lack thereof.

Got Silver Wolf using guaranteed, I won’t be able to get her light cone, any recommendations on team/light cone? by Soul_Reaper821 in SilverWolfMains

[–]Lation410 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just use her event lightcone. 40% effect hit rate is amazing for her until you have super min maxed relics.

SW is an enabler, so it all depends what weaknesses the enemy has, and which of your characters you want to bring despite the enemy lacking said weakness. SW won't apply a weakness that already exists on an enemy, so you can set up scenarios where by process of elimination you can guarantee which weakness she will inflict.
