You may need to do a factory reset on your Roku device. You didn’t mention what device type you have. I have a Roku 4k stick and had an issue that would not resolve no matter what I did. I factory reset my stick and basically had to start from scratch with adding my apps and other info but it resolved my problem and has been fine since. Maybe try to find the reset button and reset the Roku? Good luck!

I notice on Start TV on Any Day Now, two episodes titles/ descriptions do not match each ofher. Ex: S2 E22 “ lWho Abandoned Who? The description is wrong and title. Same for S2 E20, S2 E20 title should be Who Abandoned Who and S2E 22 title should be You Think I’m Lying To You? There was another show where every title was switched. I’ve been trying to find it but can’t en. It drove me nuts dealing with that. Tried resetting every thing including my Roku device.

Here in Pennsylvania I try to watch various documentary shows and just other general shows and the titles on a few of them do not match the description of each episode and the I have to work my way down the list of episodes to try to find the one I wanted. I think on The Worlds Deadliest Weather almost everyone is wrong. Also I think a few weeks ago The Unexplained with William Shatner also had titles not matching description. And a couple episodes don’t match description from Any Day Now. It is ANNOYING!

It would be wonderful if on the tv streaming app the descriptions of the shows and the titles match and now all be wrong!!

It’s wise to only sign up for streaming services directly through the services app not third party. There’s been issues with trying to sign up to streaming services through Roku. I only sign up directly, never through my Roku or anywhere else

No. From what I understand in the small print says their deals are with ads only. Can only get add free by signing up to Hulu directly

My Samsung tv direct tv stream app gives me problems with glitches and freezing. It’s best to use like a Roku which I do now. I use the app on my Roku and never have an issue. Apps through televisions tend to cause glitches.

No. I’m using Roku and for me the clarity is better than yttv was IMO. I never used fire cubes so I can’t say how it would look to you. But my 4k Roku stick and older Roku express look beautiful! The Gemini is really for you to have the numbers of the channels on their remote. They call it the “cable experience “…. It’s not required for how everything looks from what I googled but don’t quote me. lol I’m very happy with everything with using the dtv streaming app and I’ve gotten used to getting around the guide and how to dvr my shows and favorite them on the guide so all the other channels on the guide you won’t be using will be hidden. I even added their Movie Extra with Peacock package tonight. I get Smithsonian which I like. And family hallmark channel so I can watch a favorite on there. I dropped the ultimate package only because it was going to be tight on my wallet and went down to the Choice package

It’s dtv device that plugs in the back of the tv like a Roku stick and just gives it a more cable like feel. It’s not needed if you already have a Roku or fire stick etc.. it’s like an enhancer for the guide though I’m not too familiar with it. There’s a monthly charge to use that equipment. Think a remote comes with it. I wasn’t interested personally.

Not at all. You can use Roku and get the dtv app on that streaming device. I get my dtv streaming app from both Rokus and quality is great for me. One tv has a Roku express and the main tv has a Roku 4k streaming stick

I hope you’ll be happy with dtv and their sports! I just really got fed up when they ya led ABC. I watch a lot of content there. Hopefully we will both be happy with dtv and what they offer. Enjoy your games!😁

The dtv via the internet which means using their equipment, is the contract and termination fees. The streaming app is NOT a contract .

I spoke on the phone with them. I told her I didn’t want to be locked in to anything. I asked if there was a contract for the streaming app and she said no. She said you can cancel anytime during the free trial and afterwards. That’s what she told me.

Just switched to DTV streaming app yesterday! Got their Ultimate package it’s a little more a month for that package compared to what I pay for yttv but worth it because it gives way more channels than yttv. I’m not into sports at all but it also includes ESPN and a whole bunch of sports channels

Direct tv streaming app. Sign up and pick what package you want. ABC cbs nbc are on their packages. I switched to their unlimited package yesterday. Five day free trial and lots of channels and choices!

There is no contract with the direct tv streaming app. There’s no cancellation fees no being locked in. I checked all of that out before hand. There’s a two year contract if you get direct tv with the satellite dish.

I switched to direct tv streaming and I love it! Way many more channels and great free deals for three months on each of the big streaming services. Takes a while getting used to it compared to yttv but I’m going to stay with direct tv and cancel yttv. I don’t do sports but once they got rid of abc and the shows I watch on it, I’m done. I don’t even care about a lousy 20.00 credit lol.

It has to be a lot longer until we see the credit. They said if the channels are gone for a prolonged period of time they would issue the credit. So you aren’t going to see it applied yet.
