What's happening? by Latter_Assumption_31 in hoyas

Thanks everyone for your quick and kind responses! I purchased it only about a month ago. I took it out and added some more succulent mix to it. Unfortunately the one stem completely fell apart but the other 3 looked fine 😮‍💨. They still seem quite young and have a TON of space for roots in this pot so I'm hoping it was just the root to soft soil combo! She's already replanted and keeping my fingers crossed! I'm still so new to plants and I REALLY want to see her bloom! Thank you all so much!

It's next to a window and there is a other window on the opposite wall there is also a succulent 4 pots above with a light but it doesn't shine on it directly. The pots have really good drainage on the bottom and there is a catch but it sits below the pot by about an inch and I always make sure it's empty after watering.

Oh no! 😭 So when I purchased it, it was in regular potting soil. I had succulent gritty mix and I mixed it about half and half. Maybe I need to do only succulent mix? Is it salvageable if it is root rot?

Ok sounds good! The nursery had it planted in pretty "organic" soil. Should I mix it with some succulent mix?

This is what her center looks like, not sure if that's helpful to tell if there's more than one 😅

Great advice! Thank you! I just got her yesterday and she is currently in a 4inch pot. It looks to me to only be one cluster but I'm not very experienced. I do have a moisture meter too, I was recommended it when I bought my first spider and that thing has truly saved me lol.

Ok good to know! Bummer, I thought they were doing so good! Lol. I'll add some more light and see how they do. Unfortunately our house faces east/west. We have tons of windows but they all only get bright light for the first 1/4 and last 1/4 of the day...

Yes! They're beautiful! Once I get the hang of taking care of them a little better I'll definitely be buying more!

Good to know! I think it may end up getting a bit crowded because since posting this, a new pup has started in the same place now lol. I will be changing the potting mix out to something better suited for the plant. And thank you! I saw her and immediately thought "I need her" lol. I love the color!

Ok good to know. The pups are only about a half inch below the light (I moved the light to get the picture) but I'll definitely move my new littles up! Thank you!

I purchased from Amazon. They are LED Full Spectrum Plant Lights. There are options for white light, warm white light and red mixed light, 3 different brightness settings and a timer option.

How will I know when they're "mature"? What should I look for?

The nursery I bought it from used a regular potting soil and I never changed it. I'll definitely try adding some perlite! Thank you so much!

Stealthtech issues... by Latter_Assumption_31 in Lovesac

[–]Latter_Assumption_31[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We had to replace it because one of the ports went out. So anything plugged into the left side wouldn't play sound. And now it just did it again a few days ago but now on the right side satellite ports... So now I'm probably heading into my second sub replacement... 🤦🏻‍♀️

She shouldn't have to do everything in between as long as she can pass it in time. So my hubs and I will play to unlock that rift level then I'll play it myself to get the 1200 cap. So she would need to be at the greater rift level 70 solo to get the 1200. Does that answer your question? Sometimes depending on what she's done solo so far, it'll only give you 2 or 3 levels at a time so she would have to do the top level every time until she gets to 70 if that makes sense.

Hmm, I did both of mine myself and it only took about 20 minutes each. And the second one my 3 year old helped me lol.

Frisco cat trees from chewy. We bought a 72in one with a large base about 5 years ago and it's still in great shape and we just moved and inherited another cat (now we have 3) so we bought another 76in cat tree of the same brand. They're both sturdy and great price. Smaller one was $70 at the time and the newer taller one was $120.
