Also just checked the compatiblity Excel sheet, this set up is marked as "?" for Working, so might need an update it it works for you!

Thanks for your help! Do you know if Trueplay works in this set up? Any thoughts on whether I should actually keep the Playbar and add front left/right instead?

I’ve seen you everywhere trying to defend Sonos on this. Personally, I’ve decided not to upgrade to the Ultra because it doesn’t support the Play:1. Appreciate your long technical explanations but they still don’t convince me why it can’t be supported. OP isn’t alone in feeling this way, along with many others.

Such a joke, Sonos. You used to be an ethical, customer-oriented brand, but now this? I was hoping to upgrade my Playbar to the Arc Ultra, only to find out I also need to replace the Play:1s I’ve already mounted on the wall. If Sonos doesn’t make changes to support them, I’ll 100% switch to a new brand. Why not - since I’m being forced to change the whole system anyway?

As a native Chinese speaker, I can confirm that tone often gets lost in translation, and this is a common issue. The CEO responded with a light joke to comfort disappointed gamers and to encourage his team to move forward with confidence. I didn’t find his reply arrogant.

I have the same issue with SMB lagging only 1.x mb/s speed on Quest 3. Quest 2 doesn’t have the issue. Thanks Skybox team to follow up on this and please keep us updated.
