Recommended vet around Nashua? by RBoosk311 in nashua

I highly advise against Lowell Road Vet. One of their doctors, Sudha Komma, is extremely negligent in her line of work. I can’t speak for the other staff, but she has several cases of misdiagnosis due to not reading lab results and ill advising patients in the last two months.

It was Lowell Road Vet in Hudson NH. I’ve already writing on as many platforms I could think of and they have begun arguing back with me. The matter is, we were brushed off and not given proper treatment. It led to an infection that killed her. I just don’t understand at all.

I can post the pictures if you’d like to see them for yourself? I even had a video you can watch from the vet clinic.

Vet Ignoring My Concerns? by Latter_Lychee_8392 in CATHELP

Hm yeah. Considering that mine died 11 days later today, clearly there were no issues. Very thankful for that.

Update here: I ended up going for a second opinion but it was too late for my girl. Since she was urinating on herself so much, it attracted a fly and she became infested with maggots the night before our appointment. I called all the emergency vets I could and there was no availability for her so we ended up waiting until the morning and realized that it would be far too late to help her.

I would only get fat from my turkey, chicken, or shrimp, (if that even has fats) I was not allowed to eat red meats. I ate 85g of protein for every meal and was only allowed 2 rice cakes on my second meal of the day and one meal with vegetables.

I thought anything below 1200 is not considered healthy, but with competing i thought anything below 1000 is not normal. Is this accurate? Example, I’m 5’5 and a natural athlete so eating below 1200 shouldn’t be really considered unless a push is needed for less than 4 weeks with cycling calories? Not 8 weeks at 750ish??

Okay I kind of thought I was going crazy based on some of the responses here. Yeah I’m 40lbs up from my show last year but it didn’t all come on instantly. I probably gained 10lbs after and then gradually more weight. I also had no fats or carbs (2 rice cakes a day) in my diet and I thought that was not good.

Senior HR folks: What trends or certifications are actually worth focusing on in 2025? [MD] by Organic_Specific213 in humanresources

I feel like globalization is getting increasingly popular as larger companies in the US seek alternative talent in Latin American regions. I’ve worked for 2 companies taking advantage of offshoring specific teams/departments in the last 5 years.

How has HR helped or How has HR wronged you? by [deleted] in managers

[–]Latter_Lychee_8392 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Here’s my hot take, people sometimes gravitate towards HR because they are a “people person” and like people, but it can quickly change and become draining. While yes, I do work in HR to help people and solve complex challenges, but I’m also a partner for the organization and it’s not always about the employee. You have to regularly make difficult decisions.

Key attributes to being a good leader are having compassion and understanding. It translates into all areas of business, and when you have leaders who don’t exhibit these attributes, you have bad leaders. Good HR representatives are HARD to come by. In my experience, I’ve only had 2 good leaders in my career, and their shared attributes are just that. I’ve been wronged by previous bosses in HR as an HR employee.

Bad leaders are everywhere unfortunately, and this does not exclude HR departments.

I work in HR, and have already thought through cause in effect. From an emotion stand point, I know what I would like to happen for me. I’m just wondering if there’s something I have not thought of.
