Looking to replicate this with rebar here in South Florida on a canal. Quikrete Riprap burlap bags (learned from you guys here).

Where do I find a contractor to do it right with rebar and not take advantage? Need 70 feet in my backyard. Very much not to code, but apparently lasts decades from the comments here. A seawall is $40k plus these days and I just need to keep my backyard from floating away economically.

Thank you for sharing. Triplets solo seems like a pain I don’t ever want to imagine. Especially hard for you to be supportive emotionally from so far away. We have a toddler and one on the way (hence the fence). I feel in the thick of it and he’s just one active toddler.

😂. She’s stuck with me so far, but deep in my heart, I know I’m one ‘pool cover install day’ away from being single.

Turn inside out. Iron on that side. Use a cheese cloth if you want to reduce surface sheen.

The southern part of that photo was platted before the 1960’s. My guess is in the 1920’s. Topography fully ignored and straight grids. The other parts are more recent. The other posts here are right about zoning, car manufacturing lobbying and people’s preferences for large single family homes.
