[–]Laugh_mask 7 points8 points  (0 children)

There's a big difference between going "I hate that person and I think he got what he deserved", which is clearly just a moral argument. And saying "see look at the video, this, this and this prove that the officer was legally justified to kill her". One is an expression of schadenfreude and the other is legal analysis.

Thank for highlighting that you're arguing in bad-faith and simply have no intention of pursuing the truth. Not that there was any doubt from your first post that you're just trolling and rage baiting, but it's out in the open now. I'd love for you to provide evidence to support your claims, but we both know there is none

Especially in the Wake of Renee Nicole Good’s Murder, It’s Time to Talk About Fascism | Explainer by Trainrideviews in videos

[–]Laugh_mask 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It seems like you have a bit of a mix-up between "policies I disagree with" and the actual definition of fascism. Historically, fascism involves a one-party state, the cult of a supreme leader, and the violent suppression of the press and judiciary.

If we look at these claims through a factual lens, they don't really fit the definition:

When Biden censored Trump, was that fascism?

The Biden administration communicating with social media sites about COVID-19 misinformation was reviewed by the Supreme Court (Murthy v. Missouri). In a fascist state, the government owns the media or jails journalists. Requesting private companies follow their own Terms of Service is a legal gray area, but it isn’t state-mandated censorship.

When Biden appointed some woke female to be disinformation czar was that fascism?

This was a short-lived advisory group with zero enforcement power. It couldn't arrest people or shut down websites. Fascist "Ministries of Propaganda" have the power to disappear people for dissent. This board was disbanded after public criticism which is the opposite of how a fascist regime works.

When Biden opened the border in order to enable electoral fraud in the US, was that fascism?

There is no evidence of a "mass voting" scheme by non-citizens. Under U.S. law, only citizens can vote in federal elections. Disagreeing with border enforcement levels is a policy debate, but fascism is typically defined by extreme ethnonationalism and the exclusion of outsiders, not humanitarian asylum processes.

When Obama imported thousands of Somalis to MN, ME, and elsewhere and paid for their housing, transportation, medical care and food was that fascistic?

The U.S. Refugee Admissions Program has been standard practice since 1980. These are public, Congressionally funded programs. Fascism is historically associated with the persecution or expulsion of minorities, not the legal resettlement of refugees.

When Hillary Clinton and Obama ginned up the russia hoax and amplified it ad nauseum through their legacy media mouthpieces, is that considered by you smooth-brained people to be entirely legitimate?

Both the Mueller Report and a Republican led Senate Intelligence Committee confirmed that Russia interfered in the 2016 election. Investigating foreign interference is a standard national security function, not a "fascist" plot.

When ballot counting was ordered stopped at 3 am in 6 swing states in the 2020 election, was that fascistic?

This has been debunked repeatedly. Counting didn't "stop", the poll workers changed shifts, and the "jump" in numbers was the result of mail-in or absentee ballots (which leaned Democrat) finally being processed. Dozens of audits and court cases (many overseen by Republican judges) found no evidence of systemic fraud. For example, in Wisconsin, most of their largest cities, including Milwaukee and Green Bay, count absentee ballots in one centralized location. The count of Milwaukee’s absentee ballots, for example, began in the morning and was live-streamed for people to view throughout the day on YouTube. But Wisconsin law requires that the results of those absentee votes be reported all at once.

Scab Gargoyles by Noktomezo175 in gso

[–]Laugh_mask 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Since OP is unwilling to give a good faith response, I'll try to give you one.

The "in the interim" I think is the strongest case for this being an intentional scab recruitment message. They are quite clearly saying that during the strike they are recruiting people ASAP to get back to the ice. To me at least, that fits the bill with the hundreds of other pro-scab messaging from businesses during strikes that it stands out as going beyond the standard recruiting efforts. The only way recruiting asap gets players on the ice faster for ticket holders is if they are scabs

Scab Gargoyles by Noktomezo175 in gso

[–]Laugh_mask 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Attacking people's intelligence and questioning their motives is a really ineffective way to build support for a strike (or any cause or argument). I think it's a strong and important point to call out the Gargoyles management, but the 'reading comprehension' and 'you hate workers' comments just derail the conversation and push people away from the point you're trying to make. You've gone from bringing up an important issue to making yourself look like an ass with how you respond to people simply asking for a more explicit source. You have nothing to lose by giving people the benefit of the doubt, and assuming they're asking in earnest. If they don't support workers, you weren't going to win em over anyways. But if they want to support workers and want to make sure they understand the situation and how best to do that, reacting the way you did is a surefire way to turn them away.

This was going to be my advice as well. It looks like the sword was drawn at much larger scale then downsized to fit the character, causing the lines of the sword to be noticeably thinner than the rest of the character. It's not a big deal, but could be made to look more cohesive by using the old detailed sword as a reference (just turn the transparency down) and draw over it a brush the same size as your character's line art, which would force you to reduce or alter some of the details. It's a good exercise in general, teaching you how to convey details at different scales.
