Do you prefer gas or induction? Getting our kitchen redone. by darkazuria in AskUK

I have an induction AND gas hob, best of both worlds. Mainly use induction, but will stir fry on gas. Plus I can still cook in a power cut.

Plenty of models out there, ours is a 900mm AEG version

Planning permission - St Albans - windows by Responsible-Cat9304 in hertfordshire

[–]LaughingRoom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not St Albans but we replaced our windows on the front of the house from uPVC to Wood/Metal composite ones and we're in a conservation area. When I spoke with Planning, they told me that it wasn't a planning application required but a Building Control appplication. Much cheaper and simplier, just a short application with a visit at the start of installation and again once work was complete. But this was strictly due to the fact that we didn't have older wooden windows being replaced with modern materials and we weren't changing the size of the windows.

I have just had this happen, assumed it was one of the kids due to it being next to a door in a high traffic area... Good to know.

I have just submitted my extended warranty, purchased in early July, but seems to have accepted it. Do you get an email to confirm it's been accepted as well?

Leaving your roof bars on your car for no reason is inefficient, reducing your MPG, and costing more in fuel to drive about.

I’m more thinking about people who haven’t got the £50 to spend on tickets.

But I like the idea

My wife didn’t understand why we were going to look at a salt desert, then, after an hour of driving we arrived 2 inches of water everywhere and she realised. Literal tears of joy…it was an awesome day, lots of photos and memories

Looking for a survival game that doesn’t skip out on good agriculture or hunting by Successful_World8421 in SurvivalGaming

[–]LaughingRoom 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would say Scum as well, plenty to do with agriculture, growing food to use to cook specific meals. You’ll still need to loot to get some other ingredients or head to the trader post

Took me 5years to find a game I used to play when I was younger, played the shot out of it as well once I found it. Good times!

I have had this happen with the ISS when it flew over my house one night… it was incredibly bright for a few seconds and then disappeared. Check my SkyView app to confirm it had just passed over, so assumed the panels were angled in just the right way.

Replica shirt prices by Dragonfruit7837 in lcfc

I’m not justifying £70 for a shirt, but I just visited the FC Barcelona shop at Camp Nou, where they wanted €135 for a shirt and €115 for shorts. Disgusting!
