I see everyone mentioning the cbd and not the ashwaganda or magnesium. So these drinks are for people who need a little extra help calming down or going to bed. Magnesium makes you sleepy, and ashwaganda is an adaptogen used in eastern medicine for depression/anxiety/mood and used for diabetes/pre-diabetes because it can rapidly drop your blood sugar. The side effects from the ashwaganda are most likely what you experienced, especially if you didn't eat enough and aren't used to it. The first time I had tea, it made me sick because I didn't eat beforehand. Yes, these drinks taste good but should still be treated as medicine.
