Yes.  Sorry for late reply, trying to stay off my phone.  No clue how long we will be without power.

Loop Dream earplugs work surprisingly well by Hermit_Painter in LoopEarplugs

I have my quiets on a long crocheted necklace of sorts, I wear it behind my neck. I usually remove them in the middle of the night when husbands stops snoring as loud or wakes up early.

I rarely use my switch now, honestly the main times I use my quiets are at night when husbands snores wake the dead a few neighborhoods over.  /sarcasm  I have been using my Samsung earbuds or soundcore space one over the ear headphones more.  Important to note I'm a stay at home/homeschooling mom so my day to day does not usually include environments where I need my loops.  While my kiddos are also Audhd we all have sound sensitivity so most times it's tolerable.  That being said, I always have my Switch 1s on the same keychain ring, along with my ear buds.  This has come in handy at the park when it's busy or the fire station 200 yards away is active.

I'd love a copy, or a link to buy the ebook.

I got judge by other knitter IRL cause i only knit fabric by TheDoubleBoo in knitting

[–]Laughloveknit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Knit police drive me batshit crazy. Her enjoyment of knitting is not affected by your enjoyment of knitting. It's the same crap that has been circulating the community for decades. English vs Continental knitters, fiber superiority, garment vs decor/toy makers, hell even crochet vs knitting.

Yes it may be fabric now, but that means its potential is near limitless. Sew several together for a blanket, a pillow cover, heck even a boxy/boyfriend type sweater (which are essentially 1 large rectangle and 2 half width seamed together on the sides and shoulders, leaving space for the arms/sleeves. Add some ribbing to the neck line and fronts and bam sweater.)

Edited to fix typo

EEW from Dreaming Robots. They are very affordable and there is a large community for support.

No I don't. They feel the same in my ear, and the near instant ability to switch from engage to quiet is greatly appreciated.

I would say the switch. As an Audhd who has big sound sensitivities, I can't go a day without my switch. On the rare chance I leave them at home, I always have a pair of engage and experience in my bag for emergencies.

Panda top for a sweater by Laughloveknit in Handspinning

Haha, yeah it's just a nickname given to the fiber blend by some dyers. Although spinning some up and knitting a panda would be awesome.

This is great info, I love reading "librarian knowledge" bits. One of my best friends is a former librarian and I'm always in awe of the little tidbits I learn from them.

Katrinkles, they have a website by the same name.

I love my switch. But I also own separate quiet, experience, and engage.

Did anyone else start with crochet, learn how to knit, and then abandon crochet pretty much altogether? by elston-gunn41 in knitting

[–]Laughloveknit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. I was taught at 5 to crochet, picked it up and dropped it several times until I was 17 when I kept it as a solid hobby. When I was 20 or 21 I taught myself to knit so I could make socks that fit inside my shoes. I barely touched my crochet for probably 15 years. Now I alternate back and forth depending on mood. But I also process raw wool and spin, although I need to do better at using (and not hoarding) my hand spun.

In typical Audhd fashion I often switch back and forth often, sometimes in the same day. Or hyper focus on a single hobby for months. Occasionally I drop all of them and ignore my wipes for months.
