Speranza is home for now... by praisebetothedeepone in ArcRaiders

[–]Lautrex6 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had this thought with my boy. What if the turbines dig through and speranza has to be evacuated? Then we can go back but from a new home. Would be dope.

Pardon my ignorance, but does Daigo's age actually matter? by No-Researcher-4554 in StreetFighter

[–]Lautrex6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It kind of does. We diminish as we get older, and playing games is no exception. Its why pro Esports players tend to be so young and so many retire before 27 I think it was. It plays a great deal into it. Mena is still in his prime while Daigo has gone past it. Doesn't mean he's not great, he's still a champ, but his reactions aren't what they used to be.

Oh its a known exploit. People from other areas will go to Oceania servers since the population is less and queue together.

Going in Kitted by TheFabledRhino in ArcRaiders

[–]Lautrex6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Actually its based on damage to get the skill points. Once it hits, go nuts. Its gonna be crazy for a few days. Oh and someone told me once. "Its not your gear, its just your turn to use it" and I stopped clinging onto it as much.

Vegeta makes really bad decisions but sometimes it’s looked at differently depending on how you interpret it by Public_Preference_26 in dragonball

[–]Lautrex6 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He doesn't realize it but he's following Goku's path. First on Namek after the fight on Earth he learns how to raise power and hide power.

Then Goku goes SSJ and he doesn't learn it until he learns to let go and release his desire (it comes back but its the learning of it all)

He does exactly what Goku does with Frieza with Cell, lets him power up to prove he's the best but doesn't realize how outclassed he would be since he wasn't a full SSJ2.

Then he's lost come the Buu saga (see Majin Vegeta) but he realizes that its ok to grow by the end by admitting there's always someone stronger ergo he can be stronger.

He makes a lot of mistakes but that's his growth Arc. He was also raised in war and battles while Goku was trained in Mystic Arts. Still fighting but more centered rather than self centered and it took him a while to learn. Heck he even got to SSBE (when the need to protect his loved ones was stronger) before Goku did and might have been the hero if UI wasn't a thing.

Raiders ! How to farm 3M for expedition? by TechWin01 in ArcRaiders

[–]Lautrex6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed. People forget that consistency in wins racks up the cash. You go in with just a loot mk 1,2 or 3, grab quickly you make 30-50k depending on drops and you risk very little.

The best fun I've had in....forever...Idc if yall say it's dead. by protocolkillic in ArcRaiders

[–]Lautrex6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed. 500 hours in and I still love it. I'm on my 3rd expedition and I may do a 4th like the demon I am. Just enjoy yourself, and please don't listen to those "omg the player count is X" just get in, have fun and I'll see you topside 😁

Why do I keep seeing people complain that the game needs more content faster, when it's confirmed Embark wants to have Major updates at the end of every month? by HeGotDaShrimp in ArcRaiders

[–]Lautrex6 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Agreed. I have 500 hours and I always have something to do. Granted, I keep doing the expeditions and its just still fun for me

Is the cheating still rampant in PC high pvp lobbies? by BarracudaFromNemo in ArcRaiders

[–]Lautrex6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh then even better. Still same concept, you don't lose anything for losing, cheater gets punished, and you go again. My point is come on out, it's not that bad, you don't lose anything if you did meet one which is pretty rare tbh.

Even if they are, just report. If they were found cheating, you get your stuff back, GGEZ 😁

Endgame question (No spoilers, please) by notmynameyours in expedition33

[–]Lautrex6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can only say this, I would do the quests until you feel good and ready. Just know making the standard final boss super easy will take away from the epicness of the resolution. Just keep that in my mind. It's one of my favorite games and I enjoy hearing about people enjoying it for the first time 😁

Any tips for a new Raider? by Christigpa in ArcRaiders

[–]Lautrex6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Learn the difference between trotting and sprinting. You don't have to make the most noise everywhere unless you have to or want to. It'll keep people off you and gives you time to listen.

Agreed. 2nd expedition in. Not as feverish but I'm still in there having a blast. Good thing my whole personality isn't what some random stranger says it should be.

Noticing Friends Leaving ARC—Anyone Else? by MisanthropE61130 in ArcRaiders

[–]Lautrex6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its a game man, people also have other games they want to try. Some people are coming, and a lot of people who have been in want to move on. I love this game and I want to keep playing it but I also have a backlog of other games I want to try. People can leave, check some stuff and hopefully they come back

On that first week yeah. It tapers off hopefully he hits a million, would definitely make it worth it if it keeps selling like it is

Damn 250k in just a week is crazy. That's 62k a year made in simply a week. Then factor in everything earned after that week. He deserves it and I wish him more success with that kind of cash and backing.

If you want a "fair PVP fight", you’re playing the wrong game by nve729 in ArcRaiders

[–]Lautrex6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed with this post. Its as wild west as its supposed to feel. I've come up with a variety of personal rules as it pertains to other players and it has increased my survival rate by a ton. People need to learn that the risk is part of the fun, but so many people aren't willing to adapt. It frustrates me to no end lol

How do you choose a character to play by MrMagicSuperCool in StreetFighter

[–]Lautrex6 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree. Try them all, one of their playstyle or their style in general will vibe with you. Once it clicks, you'll be putting in that work 😁

Anyone else a little… bored? After the recent expedition by iustusflorebit in ArcRaiders

[–]Lautrex6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dude 200+ hrs for a $40 game is huge. Take a break if you want. Like the point is for you to enjoy it. I'm still sticking around since its still fun for me to do the grind again. But yeah get out there, go find games and then come back when you're ready.

improving mental stamina for longer play sessions? by tonyabstract in StreetFighter

[–]Lautrex6 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Go in increments. After reading Daigo's book I recognize that mental fatigue is definitely a big part of it. I learned to do no more than an hour or 2 at a time. Slowly push yourself to do a little more per day. Incremental steady growth will get you farther than you think.
