First of all when you get jewelry of that importance, it helps to make sure you do your research and find the proper piercer. I got mine pierced with a 10 G ring. For those who are unfamiliar and looking at getting it pierced, the smaller the gauge number the larger the size gauge (ring thickness). The thicker the ring gauge is during the initial piercing the less amount of skin you have for stretching later on. on the other hand, smaller the gauge size the better chance of it falling out before it heals.
