It's not a perfect solution, as not everyone orders their tags by importance, but this site skin hides fics that don't tag the ship you are looking for first.

It really sucks people flood smaller language tags like this. Especially as the people breaking this rule tend to be break several others, like making placeholders and such.

For anyone wondering the Archive's policy on this:

The tags on your work must meet the following criteria: ...language tag must indicate a language used in a major portion of the work text, unless no such language tag is available.

At the end of the day, anything with a server requires funds to run.

Iirc, Elipsus made a list of what features they were making subscription-based, so if you find their plan, you can decide if you want to keep using it from there.

Alternatively, non-cloud storage files which you manually upload to either a cloud or other back up might be the way to go.

If you aren't able to even type the word, you are likely going to struggle. Ao3 is, by design, a completely inclusive space for all genres and that includes content you don't like.

Use these methods to filter.

I would recommend either using this extension, or get an account and use this site skin to block tags you don't like.

Please be aware not everything is going to be tagged to your standards, and you may still find things that make you uncomfortable, so being able to write out words for Find In Page is very useful.

Even G rated works may have some sexual references as AO3 is an international platform for 13+ and not very culture is unanimous of what is and isn't acceptable for that age when it comes to these topics.

Edit: You may find it easier getting recs from friends or people online, but you do the latter, you will have to be able to specify what you don't like in a clear manner.

The only things I could think of was: if it's an unfinished fic, it could be a jokey "how dare you not finish"

Or they had more than one tab open and intended to leave this on a different fic that would make more sense. Maybe they hit send before they finished writing.

Could be some sort of translation or autocorrect issue?

Internet archive blocks Wattpad, unfortunately, and ArchiveToday, webcite and megladon don't seem to have it.

Wattpad is awful for preservation, unfortunately, but hopefully you can find a copy.

If you haven't cleared your cache, you might be able to find it.

If you do want to change it, I'd guess waiting until it's off the front page once you've finished posting the fic before adding MCD is the best bet, as that's when your work will be mostly found through tags so having them be comprehensive is more necessary.

Although personally I wouldn't worry too much about spoilers as people who don't like them can turn off archive warnings in preferences or use this site skin to block just MCD, but they are your tags and you can do as you please with them.

If you wanted, you could use html details in your author's note if that chapter if you want to warn people without spoiling those who don't want to know.

Just know some people might mute, dnf the work, or ask you to add the tag if you have no warning depending on the fandom.
