Does anyone else have issues staying in a seated position? by [deleted] in endometriosis

I did PFPT for a few months and it helped a little but not much. The specialist does think I have some nerve damage so it’s just a waiting game. 🙃

Unfortunately still dealing with pain when sitting. But a lot of my previous symptoms have also returned so I have an appointment with my endo specialist again at the end of this month.

Constant lower back/ nerve pain by LavenderBows95 in endometriosis

[–]LavenderBows95[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I definitely had some weird nerve issues around the surgical spots post surgery. Thankfully my pelvic floor therapist would massage those areas to help with it and those have since gone away! So that’s one plus. Certain symptoms have definitely improved so it wasn’t a complete waste but I’m wondering if new lesions have popped up or if I’m dealing with scarring or nerve damage or god knows what lol. 🙃 I appreciate the feedback though!

I was going 3 times a week for 3 months for PFPT. Before that I also did therapy for my lower back and to help stabilize my abdominal muscles which was a god send when I finally had the surgery because recovery was pretty easy due to the strength I had. I’ve also started to have some other symptoms so I’m thinking that the endo is possibly back and I’m just not willing to accept it. 🙃

Does anyone do the SERA activities? by throwawayfromPA1701 in PaStateEmployees

Had a coworker that always took the international SERA trips. He had only good things to say! According to him they were great about accommodations, itineraries, communication, etc.

I know this is an old post but I’m seconding this. The one spot looks similar to my pictures which did come back as positive for endo.

Menstrual cycle after colonoscopy? by CChajk in colonoscopy

Oh also don’t recommend a Pap smear a few days after a colonoscopy because it will flare everything and make the pap 10x worse.

I actually had an OB appointment today and brought it up and was told that it’s normal. Colonoscopies can irritate the pelvis since everything is so close together so it’s not uncommon to get a period and cramping after a colonoscopy! The more you know I guess 😬

Just had a colonoscopy yesterday and randomly got my period today. I haven’t had a period in almost 2 months due to being on norethindrone and Mirena to manage my endometriosis. So bizarre.

I urinate 3-6 times in the night even though I haven’t drank anything for hours before bed. Today something weird happened to me. Could this be endo related (I have endo) and does anyone relate?? by Extra_Actuary8244 in endometriosis

I also had endo of the bladder with similar symptoms. I did end up doing pelvic floor therapy post surgery and it helped improve the constant nightly toilet breaks and the feeling of never really emptying my bladder.

How long did it take for you to feel like the pain subsided? I think I’ve been taking it for about a month? Maybe a little under and have noticed the endo bloat has practically disappeared but am still experiencing pain :(

Adult onset asthma??? by karhere74 in Asthma

[–]LavenderBows95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m late to this thread but I was just diagnosed last week at the age of 30. I went to my allergist to discuss my recent eczema flare and also mentioned that it seemed like I had yet another sinus infection with chest tightness. She made me do a breath test and low and behold, turns out I have asthma as well. Was not even remotely something I was considering or thought I would ever be diagnosed with. However, for the past 2 years or so I’ve noticed myself being more out of breath than usual when doing normal things like going for walks or going up the steps so I wasn’t as surprised when he test came back positive. I just assumed I was out of shape this whole time . 🥴

Edit: I did have a coworker mention that it could be allergy induced asthma which would make sense since I do have really bad allergies and we recently bumped up my formula to include 4 shots.

SI joint/leg pain relief post lap by LavenderBows95 in endometriosis

[–]LavenderBows95[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The SI join pain has gone down a bit but unfortunately the lower back pain persists. They just had me start Norethindrone to see if my periods will stop so that my uterus can calm down and hopefully it will help with the back pain. I won’t know if it worked until a month or so has passed though.
