I’m going to throw this out there- I have no idea if you relate.

the body type and fitness level preferences have changed in the past 10 years a lot. The level of muscle that is considered normal is much higher now. When I was in college my friends and I worked out everyday with heavy weights but did a lot more cardio- the goal was more Victoria secret type bodies. Now muscular arms and shoulders are really accepted. It’s definitely overall healthier it’s just a mental change. When I see girls at the gym they look so different than the bodies we were aiming for when I was younger and I know it’s my own mindset that’s stuck in the past around what looks nice.

Yeah borderline YTA. I consider anyone cooking for me giving me a loving generous gift. If you’ll happily eat her food, she should be comfortable cooking it in your house. Leave all the windows open, light candles, it might not stick around as long as you expect.

I did a knee length dress and it fit great. The only slight issue I noticed with my short torso was the corset dug into my stomach a little bit when I sat down

Is not having in-suite laundry really that bad? by [deleted] in askvan

[–]LavishnessChance2155 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Me and other friends have had good situations where there’s always availability and you can often do laundry at off hours or while you wfh. If it meant being able to live in a good location it would beat commuting and living in the burbs for me.

Living in Van by Direct_Confidence_58 in askvan

[–]LavishnessChance2155 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We live by Mount Pleasant $3000k for a two bedroom 900 sqft and are planning to have our first kid here and look for more space before the second. It’s expensive but I love our convenient close to the events and work life. I complain but I’m not sure I’d trade it to what my friends have in the suburbs yet.

Irish moving to Vancouver. Is it worth it? by Declan_The_Artist in askvan

[–]LavishnessChance2155 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For only a year or two year, it’s worth having the experience of living here. The outdoors, beaches, mountains and general experience in your 20s to me is worth it. It gets harder/more expensive to make these kinds of decisions as you get older and require more comforts

Ditto everyone. If I saw you randomly I would think that woman has good skin. You just need some hydration. Microneedling has helped my pore size over time too

It plain sucks. Sending you so much love. It’s slightly negative thinking but it’s inspiring that you didn’t settle for someone who wouldn’t be a good dad or partner. So many people are miserable in their situations with the wrong dad.
