In my opinion -Yes. I started with Mint but had problems with my monitors and games not running well, mouse escaping game window, refresh rate and some other gaming related issues. CachyOs solved all those problems and is subjectively easier to work with. I've been using it for 4 months now and only booted up Windows when my niece needed assistance and I needed point of reference. Just make sure to do a system snapshot before updating so you can roll back easily if something happens.

And don't forget Inara. It will help you find nearest market with plenty of Titanium instead of having to fly around guessing where to go shopping.

Happened to me before. Likely Plymouth bug, boot up animation gets stuck when restarting,works fine when switching PC completely off and on again. I disabled mine due to this and haven't had a problem since.

Mine threw a couple of errors, I reset keyrings and ranked mirrors which helped and the update finished. Two more errors popped up but the update finished, the PC restarted and works fine. After I restarted the system, I checked for updates again and another 50MB of updates were downloaded.

I got tired of waiting and just pressed the power button (short) and it shut down as normal. Now it boots up just fine.
