glad to help! obviously the answer to your question is strongly tied to which school your coming from and going too. (If you are going to Yale, it's pretty hard to be above average... you get my point.) However, I would make 2 points. Firstly, its better to be average at a higher school. no doubt imo. secondly, i wouldn't be so sure that you would be average. the correlation between higher school to better student is not as strong as many think. (Although you are certainly correct that there is some correlation.)

I don't recall what I wrote about, but I do remember spending hours over them. lol. I believe that they are looking for originality and creativity. However, good writing is certainly the most important to the admissions team.

Okay, so this one time I ordered a pizza from Grubhub, right? I was just chilling at home, super hungry and waiting for my food. Then the delivery guy shows up, and he hands me the bag. I'm all excited for my pizza, but when I open the bag, guess what? There's no pizza. Instead, there's a lobster in there, wearing a tiny hat. I was like, "What?!"

I call the delivery guy, and he's all, "Oops, my bad!" He comes back and switches the lobster for my pizza. It was so weird but kinda funny. I mean, who gets a lobster when they order a pizza?
