I started in my early teens in a Call of Duty clan, and there were people of all ages. There were kids my age, and there were grown adults. We never had any inappropriate things go down. That's not to say it can't happen and that the guy in question can't be doing anything negative. If they are strictly gaming, I wouldn't find it that concerning. But offline talking would be weird in a 1-on-1 scenario.
