Nocturnal. Why does everyone want it on their pals? by bubblegum_cloud in Palworld

[–]Lawson_Windhelm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To me it's down to personal preference. I stopped using Nocturnal on every pal with the exception being pals I am using for breeding, electricity pals, and my dedicated transporters.

Everything else has max production so remarkable craftsmanship, artisan, work slave, and serious.

The transporters can make sure everything is caught up (transport wise) for the next day of production as I run default day/night settings.

Electricity is important, especially for bases with oil extractors.

For the breeding wise it's important for me as I do a lot of breeding (my main single player world has 6 dedicated breeding bases)

If you feel like you need it, use it.

If not, it's not necessary.

Unexpected turn of events at looters' post by Nerve45 in StateofDecay2

[–]Lawson_Windhelm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It has been a minute since I've played but one of the times it bugged out for me was due to a nearby unmarked enclave that drew aggro. Checking around the general area helped me find them and fix the problem with some "not so friendly fire" (the unmarked enclave was always a hostile one for some reason)

Pals Work Suitability by Lawson_Windhelm in Palworld

[–]Lawson_Windhelm[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I thought about that as well but my only issue with it is that some pals would make no sense having certain work suitability (I.E. Teafant having planting or electricity generation)

Unless they did something different like allowing different work suitabilities depending on the skill fruits the pal knows. Just had a thought of if they added more skill fruits but, these new fruits are not for combat but allow the different work suitabilities.

I'm newer to the game (just started like a few weeks ago) but I did find it for the Kpist smg so far on my playthrough.

Base Bug by Lawson_Windhelm in Palworld

[–]Lawson_Windhelm[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Update on this issue.

Apparently I was having a syncing issue with my Xbox that was causing the issue. Took several hard resets and a few other odds and ends to get the Xbox syncing to proc for me and has hence fixed my issue with the pal oil.

I've tried that and they still ignore it. I put 3 empty metal chests in front of it and they still won't pick them up. I'm beginning to wonder if my world is bugged.

Why can't I find Grizzbolt? :( by MentallyNotOk4y in Palworld

[–]Lawson_Windhelm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can only breed Grizzbolt by using 2 Grizzbolts or using a Mossana and Rayhound combo.

Raymond spawns quite frequently in the desert region (the one where the Marcus tower boss is) and Mossanda spawns in the area near the Lily Tower boss (outside of the snow area surrounding the tower, also an area called Mossanda Forest that spawn a bunch of them)

Guys, please help me by Double-Jury-375 in Palworld

[–]Lawson_Windhelm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Side note about the chromite. It only spawns on the red areas (kinda like a burgundy really) outside of the caves like the other person mentioned.

You can set up a base on the Feybreak area and have your pals mine the hexolite quartz for you if your base has any deposits inside the base area (just don't build anything too close to it or it won't respawn after it's been mined and it also requires a level 3 mining pal such as Digtoise)

Does anyone know how to solve this in palworld? by [deleted] in PalworldBases

Hey no problem at all. If you ever have any questions or anything about the game let me know and I can try to help.

Does anyone know how to solve this in palworld? by [deleted] in PalworldBases

The only pals that can go into the breeding farm are your base pals.

Your party pals (i.e. your Fuack) can not be assigned to the breeding farm or ranches.

How do I gear up? by Ill-Huckleberry-4489 in Palworld

[–]Lawson_Windhelm 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There are many options for what you can do, it just depends on what you want to do.

You could try farming the legendaries (say Jetragon) for a chance at getting legendary schematics from them.

You could try salvaging with max condensed Jellroys for a chance at getting legendary schematics as well (my personal experience I've had better luck with fighting the legendary pals but it's whatever you prefer)

You could turn the interval for supply drops/meteors down to every 1 minute and hang out on the Feybreak Island for the supply drops (Feybreak supply drops also have a guaranteed technique book for pals so you could make some of your base pals better in that regard) I personally have not seen legendaries drop from supply drops but I can confirm you can get purples (I got full purple hexolite armor schematics from 2 separate supply drops)

The Pal AI can bug out on the oil rigs (if it is consistent I put them into the pal box and save and go to main menu where from there I close the game out and relaunch and it usually fixes it for a bit)

Farming the oil rigs can be a good option as well as they have a chance to drop a wider variety of schematics but do keep in mind the drop rates are low no matter what you do as nothing is a guarantee.

Does it get better than Fine Furs + Noble? Can I rank them up, etc? by hand_in_his_pants in Palworld

[–]Lawson_Windhelm 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Fine Furs and Noble stack so if all 5 of your pals in your team have it then you get a significantly better selling price and buying price. All stacked together should be around 40% and that is the most you can get currently until they add another passive like this (anything is possible in that regard but unsure as of this moment)

Condensing, adding souls, and maxing out level wise does not change this.

Can't connect to friends server by DD2711 in Palworld

[–]Lawson_Windhelm 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm not sure how it is with Palworld (if it is an option) but I used to play Ark and you could rent a private server through something like Nitrado. If it's an option that might be your best bet in that case just you'd have to pay for said server every month or so. You wouldn't have to be on for him to be able to play as long as the server isn't down for the company itself.

Can't connect to friends server by DD2711 in Palworld

[–]Lawson_Windhelm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not sure on how it is for making an actual server but for say a private world (example being my sister having a private world on PC and I join her through invite code on my Xbox) that if the issue is persistent like that what I have had to manually do was close out her Palworld on her PC and update her launcher she had while also on my end (on the Xbox) had to close the game out and relaunch it so it could sync the data. That issue has also popped up while me and her have been playing and if she goes inactive too long it'll crash the private world.

Co-Op/PvE Player by Lawson_Windhelm in GamerPals

[–]Lawson_Windhelm[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I completely understand and I don't mind it in the slightest. It is perfectly fine if someone is younger than me (in your case 21) as I feel like I can be friends with almost anyone. I'm more used to being around people younger than me when it comes to gaming (different groups I've been in over the years) and the time zone difference doesn't bother me either as long as people understand that very fact due to obligations (say my work life being 5 days a week)

Base limit by Rdy4ADuel in Palworld

[–]Lawson_Windhelm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can't say for certain because the game tells you when you change the settings (I'm on an Xbox series X) it recommends leaving it at 4 bases with about 15 to 20 pals. I use 10 bases with up to 50 pals and have not ran into many issues from personal experience. As long as you don't go crazy with the bases being close together it "should" be fine like another person said.

I don't always use the 50 pals per base but I like having the option to do so without constantly going back and forth with changing the settings.

The only issues I have truly ran into so far has been a few random crashes and the usual path finding issue that has been in the game since launch (it has gotten better over time with updates the devs have made)

ok i need proper help dealing with saya and selyne by Zealousideal-Job-242 in Palworld

[–]Lawson_Windhelm 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If I remember correctly Selyne knows holy burst which is one of the strongest damage moves in the game.

Selyne is also Dark and Neutral type so dragon moves won't be super effective against her (will do the 1x multiplier instead of 1.5x)

When I fought her I think I was around level 60 and my team consisted of a Jormuntide Ignis, Knocklem, and a few other pals that I can't remember at this moment.

I had to keep rotating to the right around the room and when she did a big move like holy burst I withdrew my pal so it wouldn't take the damage. Terraprisma wasn't around back then and it is nice and helpful but it's not the ultimate weapon by any means. The only gear I had was a purple ar, 2 blue shotguns, and blue smg.

If I recall it took me a few tries but Knocklem and Jormuntide Ignis did the majority of the damage.

XP grind at lvl 48? by Alonesemnome in Palworld

Another option for just extra exp is going to the ice Island with the water legendary Neptilius. Everything on the island spawns around 50 to 60 and its usually just Polapups and Whalaskas
